Ok - I suppose I must explain the title of this week's challenge! I have sung in choirs all my life (music major), and when it's December, and close to Christmas, you start remembering all the Latin words you sang. So I was singing along: Et in terra pax hominibus (And on earth peace among men) for some strange reason when I was writing this up, and it just came to me!
Keyword: FS617 I am posting early tonight - bronchitis has kept me at bay this week, and I am heading to bed really early tonight! Enjoy the extra time to play! HOW DO I PLAY?:
Go to the Featured Stamper's gallery and CASE a card, following these simple CASEing Guidelines:
1. Change 2 or more things on the Featured Stamper's project. It could be a color combo, embellishments, backgrounds, or even the main image could be different -- but similar because you don't own the exact image. Please list the changes you made in your description.
2. Give credit to the original stamper and put a link to the original card in your description.
3. Fan Club members may upload today (Sunday). Non-Fan Club members are encouraged to play, but please wait until Monday to upload your creations to give our volunteer moderators a day off. This is so much appreciated.
4. Please note the following regarding Sketch Challenge cards: If you are keeping the same layout but changing most everything else on the featured stamper's card, make sure it isn't a sketch challenge card (SC###). The reason is because it is essentially is a CASE of the sketch since it isn't the Featured Stamper's original idea. Please be sure to check the keywords!
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Jessica- I really enjoyed going through your lovely card gallery- I was inspired by your card Grown With Love- I found a similarly themed set featuring sweet peas for my card. Inked with markers, I hand stitched the bottom border of my main panel for a homespun look, adding a plaid border below that from my latest lap quilt (in my gallery ) Did a fussy cut sentiment on top, and finished with a stitched ribbon bow. Here's Sweet Pea

Playing Challenge Catch-Up, I browsed JEXTERRA's gallery...such a fun gallery to browse...so many pretty cards!
This is Jessica's card that I chose to CASE: Special Blessing. I chose this card for its refinement of my colors to use on my sentiment and cupcake. I changed the theme, card style and layout completely, but I loved her card and its beautiful watercolor color wash!
