FS272 {4/22/12}Who's Tha Man??
k tha man!! She's better known as kthaman or Karen Haman and you'll be amazed by her fabulous gallery! And there is something for everyone in Karen's extensive gallery so check out her Gallery now and you'll be back for more!
I couldn't pick just one, so I made two!
Chandelier (based on Karen's Rain or Shine)
So Many Candles (based on Karen's Rainbow Branches)
Just want to say, thanks to Cindy for all her hard work bringing this challenge to us, and I'm just thrilled to be here and working with Stacy, Bridget and Judy! I hope between the 4 of us, we can continue to highlight some of the galleries of long time and up & coming Splitcoast members!
Can't wait to see what you will create! Here's a quick link to the FS272 gallery!
HOW DO I PLAY?:
Go to the Featured Stamper's gallery and CASE a card, following these simple CASEing Guidelines:
1. Change 2 or more things on the Featured Stamper's project. It could be a color combo, embellishments, backgrounds, or even the main image could be different -- but similar because you don't own the exact image. Please list the changes you made in your description.
2. Give credit to the original stamper and put a link to the original card in your description.
3. Fan Club members may upload today (Sunday). Non-Fan Club members are encouraged to play, but please wait until Monday to upload your creations to give our volunteer moderators a day off. This is so much appreciated.
4. Please note the following regarding Sketch Challenge cards: If you are keeping the same layout but changing most everything else on the featured stamper's card, make sure it isn't a sketch challenge card (SC###). The reason is because it is essentially is a CASE of the sketch since it isn't the Featured Stamper's original idea. Sketch challenges include Mojo Sketches, Design Team Sketch Challenges, and Blog Sketch Challenges, etc. Please be sure to check the keywords!
UPLOADING DIRECTIONS:
1. Keyword FS272.
2. In the Details Section of your card, please describe the changes you have made, give credit to the Featured Stamper, and link her card. Fill in the products that you used in the blanks provided so that others can CASE your card too! Please do not link back to your personal blog.
If you are new to challenges, please feel free to this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get you stamping!
NEED HELP LINKING A CARD? FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Open 2 windows. One for your card, one for the this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type what you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window, highlight the address for your card. (The address bar will say www.splitcoaststampers.....).
4. Click edit. Click Copy.
5. Go back to this thread. Click Paste.

Oh I'm so glad you picked Karen. She was on deck for me. You ladies have all been way too kind and thank you! This challenge is so much fun and my absolute favorite!
Congrats Karen! This is a long overdue honor and it's going to be so much fun cruising your gallery. I have no kids in the house tonight so I'm getting my ink on!
Thank you Julie for the wonderful challenge

FS272 For You
Great Gallery, Julie! I especially liked Karen's Razzleberry Rose and came up with For You, using SU's Apothecary Art. It's for a school auction basket, so I kept it clean and simple.
Have a great Sunday!

FS272 Blue Themed Thanks
I was inspired by Karen's Different Valentine with its colored dp background and intricate lettering- and came up with Blue Themed Thanks, using SU's Celebrations set. I kept it clean as it's part of a school auction basket.

FS272 Produce Truck
I especially liked Karen's Why Not and changed it to a pickup truck- using a brass stencil and SU's Loads of Love Accessories for my driver. I distressed the area under the wheels to mimic grass, and continued that around the edges. Here's Produce Truck

FS272 Deanna's Red Rooster
I really liked Karen's Cozy Thanks - used the red for my stencilled rooster, and used a manilla envelope for my neutral background. Here's Deanna's Red Rooster
