CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week Ending 7/2/17
July 1 already! Did someone adjust time to run at warp speed this year? If so, could you kindly reset it to the factory settings? :rolleyes: I just can't get over that the year is halfway over already. In any case, Happy Canada Day and Happy Independence Day to those celebrating either this weekend/upcoming week.
Summer is "busy season" at work, and it really can cut into my Gallery gazing time. I only had a chance to view those cards with keyword of CAS, so I'm sure there are several CAS beauties I didn't get a chance to see. I'm depending on YOU to add in your favorites so that I can see what I missed.
Here are the CAS lovelies that I did get to enjoy and favorite this week:
IC604 Take Flight by catluvr2 Oh my gosh - Priscilla's paper pieced bird with it's skinny little legs is just too cute - you've GOT to check it out!
Daisy Die #1 by hskelly Harriet's back in the Gallery (yay!) with a set of CAS beauties for this week's inspiration challenge. This was my favorite - undoubtedly because her choice of DSP includes some of my favorite colors.
Happy Birthday! (Paru's Cardmaking Challenge) by Ardyth It's really hard for me to make it through a week without adding at least one of Ardyth's cards to my Favorites. This festive birthday card is the newest addition. I love how the little strip of black and white striped DSP makes all her colorful balloons pop.
Thanks a Bunch! by jeanmanis It was Jean's color choices and her asymmetric layout that earned this beauty a spot in my Favorites folder.
Muse 222 - Get Well Soon by Ardyth Another favorite from Ardyth - I really like this layout and will definitely be using it for one or more of my Send a Smile cards in the near future.
Sun rays, flowers & HOPE by Whimsey I love the composition of Michele's beautiful card - I feel like it's faint sun rays and the size/style of the word HOPE give the sense of positivity and strength growing out of adversity. And the flowers are just gorgeous!
CAS435 Popsicles! by die cut diva It's probably a sign of my age, but Terri's card just made me smile. I liked the word play (and I STILL say "cool" even if it isn't in vogue anymore) and it gave me fond memories of childhood days at the town swimming pool and standing in line for twinsicles during the adult swim.
Woo Freakin' Hoo by Oddesigns You just can't look at these grumpy partiers without cracking a smile. I like the hand drawn border to provide some weightless framing.
Hello, Lovely! by uncbballfan*** NEW-TO-ME-STAMPER *** Love the beautifully watercolored image paired with the large sentiment. This beauty should be framed.

Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these easy steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
