Heart CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for the week ending April 27, 2014
It was an incredible CAS gallery this week and I'm having trouble keeping my favourites to a reasonable quantity. So I know there are lots of others for the rest of you to list! Here's what absolutely had to stay in my favourites:
IC438, Big Happy Wishes by k dunbrook - a great new background technique using an embossing folder to stamp instead of to emboss IC438 Thank you by Arizona Maine - beautiful die-cut flourished edge with violets on it Birthday Florets kth by kthaman - great fussy-cut flowers and a wonderful layout IC438 Beautiful Grunge Flowers by hskelly - restrained grunge behind a silhouette flower Bermuda Bay Monochromatic Circle Card by darhm - love the way the flower is framed! - a new-to-me stamper Stars, stars and more stars by APandi - love the use, the layout, and the colours of the stars on this card - another new-to-me stamper FFC30 - Joy by Ardyth - more great use of a star that makes a fabulous CAS card Wonderful Alcohol Inks by Shadow's Mom - a faux glass flower in the most stunning colours Gold So Very Grateful by amyk3868 - the gold in this really caught my eye! CAS Stenciled Grunge by nancy littrell - great stencilled grunge Watercolors and Daisies by Loll Thompson - a beautiful background for a simple white die cut flower Taking flight by fionna51 - a flourish, a butterfly, and some scattered pearls come together perfectly CAS269 Divided Panels color challenge by nancy littrell - beautiful colours, a lovely white embossed flower, and one of my favourite sentiments CAS269 Thank You by hobbydujour - love the shaded striped background for a simple silhouette CAS269- Lavender by donidoodle - fussy cut and beautifully coloured flowers over a simple leaf resulted in one of my favourite cards for this week's CAS Challenge CAS269 ~ Refresh by sistersandie - lavender flowers and butterflies, a fabulous layout, and a great sentiment CAS269 Congratulations by Biggan - watercoloured flowers and perfect shading result in this stunning CAS card FS376 Masking Sympathy sm by smadson - a fabulous masked background strip for a silhouette stamp |
Need Help Posting your CAS Favorites for the Week?
Each week we have newcomers posting to these threads. EVERYONE is invited to join in. The more participation we have, the more interesting this thread will be.

I have a good-sized favorites folder today too, Susan, but not quite as big as 2 weeks ago. That week I had more than 90!
But I'll save you looking at the lovely creations by k dunbrook , Arizona Maine , kthaman , hskelly , darhm , Loll Thompson , sistersandie , and Biggan that Susan already mentioned...and I'll give you different ones... Weekend Warrior wonderful technique on the background Biggan love the ribbon flower...so soft and elegant bfinlay lovely colors...lovely technique...beautiful card ltecler caught my eye quickly...love the colors and how the butterfly is made Arizona Maine so simple...so beautifully colored akeptlife love the red...and the embedded die cut jasonw1 gorgeous embedded die cut border beesmom love the white on purple YoursTruly beautiful ocean background deconstructingjen beautiful sponged rays...love the layout semsee a new to me stamper lovely tag layout swldebbie cute sunflower highlighted perfectly with scoring jeanmanis love the way she laid this card out funone a new to me stamper just the right amount of grunge and collage for cas nancy littrell beautiful intense watercolor Loll Thompson love the use of double stencils girlgeek101 lovely and subtle Daizy-Mae great layout...and just enough yellow There you are...more eye-candy! |
