Hello all you wonderful SCSers and Favorites visitors! Carlene, here starting the Favorites thread this week! September is already here, can you believe it? We are enjoying a delightfully cool day here in the Northwest after our rather too warm summer (at least for me)!
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous FAVs you have discovered in the SCS Gallery this past week: Sunday, August 26 through Saturday, September 1st. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions on how to do that.
Do you have a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.

Having just returned from a week-long family camping trip to wonderful Fort Worden/ Port Townsend, WA, I had no time in the gallery this week at all. I will try to do a little browsing in the next day and get a small list together. You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you.
Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
- That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site or prepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
- The card maker’s SCS NAME is shown (adding color really helps too, but is not absolutely necessary).
- It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
- And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.

I am hoping many of you will see this and forgive me for my long absence from the favs thread. I use my very old tablet to comment on cards, but it Can't do much else....especially post lists. I always did that with our laptop which died 2 months ago. We are in a warranty battle with Costoco trying to get it fixed. DH recently lost his job, so going out to buy a new one is not an option. I love to list my favs in this collum and hopefully will be back with oodles of favorites soon.
