It's my turn to start us off with the CAS Favourites of the past week.

To start with, I found some lovely Valentines:

WT672, F4A414, Happy Valentine Hugs by Boss - sweet little flowers set against a swirly background

Love by Petal Pusher - layered hearts and a fabulous striped bow

CC671 Falling Hearts by suen - love the negative and postive die cut tiny hearts

Valentine Hugs and Kisses by kiagc - great technique with embossing powders - I need to make time to try it this weekend.

CC671 With Love by Biggan - wonderful mixed media, but still clean and simple

And beautiful non-Valentine cards:

FS573 With Sympathy by Shoe Girl - a great sympathy card with beautiful white on white and sweet little butterflies

Snow Tweet Bday WT672, SC681 by justwritedesigns - a lovely winter birthday card (that could also be adapted to a Christmas card)

Happy Happy Wishes by beesmom - wonderful colour shading

CAS Cling Wrap Birds! by nancy littrell - terrific use of cling wrap to create texture

Brusho DTS by UnderstandBlue - wonderful technique - if you like working with Brushos or other powdered inks, be sure to watch the video

EH Pinsights - Lovely Thistle by Ardyth - a beautiful watercolour look from stamping with a stamp positioner and Distress inks

This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.

There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:

The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...

It's all about the design.
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point

Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:

1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.

2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."

3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.

4. Switch back to the first tab. Type the cardmaker's SCS name, add a couple of spaces and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line.

5. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.

6. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
