Good afternoon, friends. Well, I’ve been MIA lately but sure hope to be back feeling better soon (with high hopes of new medication). I’ve not browsed the gallery too much but have some new first-time uploads to share you with along with a couple of other cards that were able to catch my attention earlier today.

If you’ve not yet seen the gallery of Dewi Lami (in_quebec), well, you are in for a surprise. This young artist is Mimi’s biggest fan, and she is also helping Mimi with her English. And Mimi loves Dewi’s DH Jim and dog Yumi. How precious!

Here are just two cards, but I hope you might visit her gallery and encourage this eager fan of Mimi’s.

Now for a laugh, well two! This new member must have one really great sense of humor. I know you will love her two cards (and you know that my DD sis Susie would love these). Not sure which is my favorite, because they are both funny!

And last but not least, Christina is a dear blogger I have come to know who is now here on SCS and delighting us with her work. She has posted this beautiful card for her SIL who is a breast cancer survivor. Stunning, Christina!

I finished notifying about one hour ago, but I had to have a little lay down.....so many fabulous Q, R & S notifications to send. Today it hit home with me that we are a little bit special here in this community with the gallery and the love and encouragement people leave for each other inside SCS. ( I have randomly started posting a few things to a stamp companies face book page, and today I actually got a comment that was not so nice. ( it wasn't bad, I am sure she was just being honest) but, it really poked a hole in my balloon.
so, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you.
that do go and share in the gallery and leave the comments and play along each week in here. it really is such an awesome "feel good" thing.

I really feel guilty that I had cards mentioned this week, and have no favorites of my own to add. I have spent every spare moment trying to catch up with HYCCT challenges while battling a disgruntled hip and a flooding craft room. But I wanted to say thanks to Francie, Lisa and wavejumper for mentioning my cards, and to Stacy for letting me know. Life will surely get back to normal one of these days!

Oh, goodness! I was out 12 hours today for my son! The joys of one vehicle, living out in the boonies and a busy teen! Still, I am happy to do it and he was thankful.
