Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for Week Ending SATURDAY, June 29, 2019

In the Chicago area, we didn't have much of a Spring weather wise, but it seems that those hot and humid Summer days have found their way to us just in time for the 4th of July. Good weather to enjoy some AC in the craft room until slightly cooler temps prevail.

But enough chit-chat; we have CAS crafters to celebrate! I've listed some great CAS cards that caught my eye this week. I hope you'll check them out and then share your favorites from this past week. Trust me, it's worth your time because it really will make someone's day.

Happy Birthday by gunilla.holmqvist
LOVE the design of this card with its subtle brick background adding interest but not drawing the eye away from the gorgeous die cut focal feature.

CAS539 ~ Relax by sistersandie
Using a stencil or negative of a circle die is a great way to draw the eye and create a card that is easy to mail.

Rainbow Love by SandiMac
Bright colors on a white base, combined with a black silhouette image gets me every time - so striking without compromising the CAS design.

Just a Bit of Silver by TexasGrammy
An asymmetric layout is a great way to add interest to a CAS card.

Birthday card by Sunnylovespaper
I do love hedgie cards and this one couldn't be any cuter.

IC708 - Seriously by ohmypaper!
I LOVE black/white/yellow so this one was definitely destined for my faves. The large sentiment works perfectly.

This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.

There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:

The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...

It's all about the design.
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point

If you have favorites to share that don't fit as Clean and Simple, we encourage you to share those favorites in the regular Favorites Thread. I will post the thread once it is available

Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:

1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab. Type the cardmaker's SCS name, add a couple of spaces and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line.
5. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
