My children are Derek James, Taryn Nicole & Landon James. Although I am not having anymore children, the new name that I like it Adyson. We also had the name Taran picked for our second child as a boy name but we had a girl so I just feminized it with a "Y".

I have a Taylor Emily (Tay)
Benjamin Robert (Ben)
Lindsay Elisabeth (Linny)

Neices and Nephews:
Alekzander(Alekz)
Jason Aaron (Jason)
Molly Alexis (Molls)
Mackenzie Deborah (Kenzie or Kenny)
Emily Elizabeth (Emmy)
Samantha Alice (Sami)
Olivia (Livi)
and Luke William(Luke)

Most of the kids nicknames were given to them by the other kids - My Taylor is the oldest of all of them at 8. My sister is trying to decide if she really likes Kenny for her youngest - but ALL of the kids call her that. My nephew Alekz has a hard time with spelling his name. My sister didn't tell anyone about the different spelling - we all thought it was a misprint in the church bulletin when he was bapatized - lol!
Good luck picking out names - I had a blast when I was pregnant!

I have Jacob William and Julia Jaye.

Some of the other names we came up with were
Carson Elizabeth (Carson was my grandmother's maiden name and I wanted to honor her in some way)

Carter Daniel

My cousin's name is Alyson - that's one way to get the 'consonant-y' combo. : )

I have two spectacular grandchildren with cute names: Kambree and Jax. Of course, I like the names, but the children are even better!

Names are always hard because what you may like your significant other may not. I namds my two daughters Kellee and Lyndsey. I always liked Noelle, but hubby never did!

Well, we named our boys Brian Daniel (after DH) and Jordan Andrew (after the Jordan River and Andrew the disciple). If Brian Jr. had been a girl we were going to name him Brianna Danielle. Other girl names we considered were Alexis (call her Alex) and Elisabeth (with the 's' to be different). My name is Jacqueline Joy which I think is an excellent name.

Interesting thread as my husband and I have been talking about having children. We live in the South so I am trying to think of names that don't end with 'n' - those get shortened here and don't sound nice at all! I have two nephews - Aaron Jacob and Tyler Andrew. Andrew is a family name, which is what my mother also wanted to name me, but my dad wouldn't let her. I would have LOVED it! So my middle name is Andrea, which I'm not fond of, but not called by, except when my mother would get mad and she would call me Dana Andrew anyways...I also get mail addressed to Mr. b/c Dana is a masculine name and my last name is also very masculine. Doesn't bother me at all.

I'm not into nicknames at all, so I am looking for names that will be the name. I've also been thinking about not given a middle name since it's something I have never used.

Keep 'em coming - this is great!

Baby #1 who will be here any day will be Aiden James. I wanted to make sure I picked a name that I knew wouldn't be shortened into something I didn't like. This way, his only nick-name will probably be A.J. which I can live with.

Also, my 8yr old step-son's name is Kaleb Michael. DH named him.

My daughter-in-law loves romance novels so...My grandkids all have great romance novel names! Allyssa Loren, Alex Laken, Aiden Michael & Cassandra Anne. The only one with a nick name is Cassandra. They call her Cassie (her brother Aiden (could not say his C's when she was born) calls her "Sassy"

I'm trying to come up with some good names for the twins & my dh doesn't like any of my choices so far with the exception of Ella. That's his grandma's name & a name I've liked forever. So we still have 1 more 1st name to settle on & 2 middle names.....and they all have to sound ok together.

My 2 yr old dd is Lorelei, which we loved because we don't know anyone named that, but most everyone has heard of it (and there are 6 or 7 songs out there called Lorelei- don't know of another name that has that many songs!)

Default Here are some names for you.

Let's see...
My sons are named Tristan John and Cullen Matthew. If they were girls it would have been Meredeth Elaine and Elaina Regine or Elaina Jean. Name I loved but didn't work with our last name is Declan. My neice is Lacey Celeste
and i think that one of my all time faves.
