The holidays are full of hustle and bustle, and if we are honest, sometimes a little stress. Humor is the best stress buster, and one of my family holiday tradition is to watch the hilarious classic, A Christmas Story. My final challenge is to create a holiday card with elements from this Christmas classic, A Christmas Story, for example: the color red, a Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle, the leg lamp, etc. YOUR CHOICE, just tell us how your elements relate to A Christmas Story!
Have fun - and be careful and don't shoot your eye out!

I was inspired by Ralphie's house (street view, looking in) from A Christmas Story- with all the trimmings- and made this card, done with dry embossed panels, a wreath, and water colored die cut trees. Our family drives around our town looking at the lights - a tradition for us Here's Magical Holiday I 've attached my inspiration picture:

I don't think this is what Hero Arts had in mind for their April stamp kit, but the leg worked perfectly, LOL! I love this movie and my daughter hates it, so I guess she'll get this card!

I am excited to watch my son open this card and see if he gets it. I think his wife will : ) My son asks for bullets for Christmas, so this will be perfect- never would have thought of making a card like this- so thanks for a perfect challenge!
