People over paper always wins! This week I handstitched the binding on 5 quilts for my favorite cousin so she will be able to give them away in the USA before she returns to Australia next month...she does have one more for me to stitch during her visit over Thanksgiving!
2 King quilts
1 Queen quilt
2 Baby quilts
Lots of hours spent visiting, she sewed, I stitched when she got a quilt ready for me!
Next for me is to sort through some dies to send to a young girl so she has a fun unexpected gift next month! (Shh...don't tell her but I was going to send her one of my Cuttlebug's instead her mother was looking on-line and found a gently used one so I sent the amount I would have spent on postage so her parents could buy it for her!!!!) Now she needs some dies (and the "C" plate) and a few embossing folders...and I am going to have some fun!
We all know I already have more than enough but it is fun to receive and to give!
I plan to work on the challenges, just not today!

I did one challenge card today, and am still working on glass ball. Next to last coat drying. Patina, next. I think I am too heavy with the paint. I am always that way. But however it turns out, it is what it is. LOL. It has been fun, anyway.

Hi guys, I am brand spanking new to the Falliday festivities. I am wondering if I can combine outside challenges - like Freshly Made Sketches? and Virginia's show and share?
Thanks!

Unless I'm mistaken, combining with outside challenges is OK. We just shouldn't combine two or more Falliday Fest challenges with one project.

Actually, I just checked in Lydia's challenge post in the Master Challenge thread. She mentioned that, to be eligible for team prizes, you have to have everything uploaded by noon Central Time on Thursday, November 21. I take that to mean there are prizes. While I don't "require" a tangible prize--though they're always nice to receive --I would hope we at least can vie for a title (Yeti, Queen, whatever)! That (to me at least) is half the fun.

So, I have until the 21st? I am a little behind! Maybe I can get them done, after all.
Is there a way to print out the tracking sheet? I haven’t figured it out yet.

if it is team prizes they may not be coming from outside sponsors that would be Lydia, Dina & Lori providing them.
(Kinda like how Misti, Lee & Kim do with the VSN?)

Sharon isn't it a google drive document?
(can you save a copy to your drive and then print from there?)
When its a really long list of things say DTGD I tend to do print screens of the list so I end up with pages. I have a borderbund program that allows me to hit the print screen button on the keyboard and have it actually "print" what is on the screen at that time. (I don't have this in my laptop at home but, I can check at work tomorrow to know the exact program I have )
this is maybe a 20.00 thing the last time I got one I think it did not come with a disc it was just a download but, at least it is not a "subscription"

Hoping to get some more Falliday Fest challenges done today. I'm waiting for my new laptop to arrive, so I can check out the galleries and comment. I hate typing on my old tablet. It takes me forever. Lol

If you have even just a word processing program like Microsoft Word or similar, you can do print screen. Just pull up the screen you want to print (e.g. the Falliday tracking sheet), & hit the print screen key on your keyboard (mine is abbreviated "prt sc" & at the top of the keyboard). Then go to your word processor and you can paste the screenshot into a new document just like you would paste text (or anywhere in an existing document if you prefer). You can paste by holding down the control key (CTRL on a PC) or command key (CMD) on a Mac (I assume that's the proper key, as I don't have a Mac) and then hitting the "V" key. Just repeat as many times as you need. Personally, I just make a copy of the tracking sheet in my Google Drive and update as needed. I can highlight the rows of projects I've completed, so I can see at a glance what I have left to do. HTH!

I'm so impressed by those of you who get all challenges and tutorials done! I would love to but just don't have enough time!
But I am so grateful for these challenges (and all the other SCS challenges) as they often spark ideas for cards and also keep me interested and engaged in making more!

I was about to surrender and quit. I have done about 1/2 to 2/3 of the challenges, but getting bogged down a bit by tutorials. However, seeing that we hve until the 21 st to upload, I may take a breather and then carry on. This is certainly a 'growing opportunity' learning a lot of techniques and a lot about myself.

Ohhhhhh . . . I had really hoped to play in Falliday Fest this year but I think I'm probably too far behind now . . . .Between going back home for my mother's passing & funeral then getting sick and after that a week of vacation well . . . I can try again NEXT year! BTW can someone let me know how long this event typically runs?? I couldn't find any info on that.

Linda, I think they got a later than usual start this year because dtgd seemed to have ended later. I'm wondering if they could start dtgd earlier so these don't run so close together. I really did like the slower pace this year. I hope that is a change that stays.

I couldn't find an ornament so I improvised with some cups from the Dollar Tree.
