FF17TUTORIAL7 Purr-fect Halloween
Went with a Halloween themed card, using SU's Tricky treats set for my cat and pumpkin embossed black oval. Other images are from Lawn Fawn's Heebie Jeebies set. For embellishment, I used a dc gold flower, and 2 black dc borders. Finished with a pumpkin and black cat foam duo. Here's

I started two cards and three panels and cut a lot of patterned papers before I came up with a combination I liked. A very unique card indeed.

So, I made mine too top heavy I think to stay flat... so I tied it shut and eliminated the back panel to allow for the tie closure...
(don'tcha just hate recipe reviews where they tell you I followed this recipe as written except I did this and this and that instead)
Sorry, I did try it though

Last March, my niece sent me a beautiful store-bought card. I told her it was too pretty to throw away, and that she would be seeing it again. As her birthday approached (10/26), I had no good ideas for recycling that pretty card.
That is, until this tutorial. Thank you Dina for the challenge, and thank you Dawn, for the tutorial and the inspiration behind the design.
Here's the card. The bottom layer and the small top layer are cut from the birthday card.
