Falliday Fest 2017 - Card Drive #1
Welcome to our first Falliday Fest card drive of the challenge!
Today's card drive is for a wonderful organization - the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland.
The Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland offers a place to call home at little or no cost so families can access the best health care, regardless of their location. We allow families to stay together and connected.
Our House enables families to focus on the health of their child rather than anything else. We preserve a sense of normalcy with home-cooked meals, comfortable beds, and recreational activities for the family to enjoy. Most importantly, we help families create connections with other families, staff, and volunteers.
Mission:
Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, Inc., a nonprofit organization, supports families whose children receive treatment at area medical centers by providing a home-like environment and essential resources and services. We serve more than 100,000 individuals through our 55-room House, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at four area medical centers, and online resource for Ohio families, RedTreehouse.org.
Their biggest need is birthday, thank you, thinking of you, miss you, baby, friend, anniversary, sympathy, encouragement.
Each card should be stamped with a sentiment inside, and sent with an envelope.
Restrictions - No glitter or sharp objects or metal of any kind.
Please package your cards carefully and mail them to:

Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! You know, I had in my mind that I would be over the moon if a Ronald McDonald House was featured for our card drive!!!! Yes! Thank you! And my cousin and his wife and little man used this very one. Feeling very thankful and excited to take this on. I can't wait to tell her about this.

Yes - it specifies an envelope. Sleeves are your call. Each card drive will list all the specifics - if it's not in the post, it's not required.

Question All kids card or Adult too? Do we need to upload all the cards for this card drive? If so, what Keyword do use? Or do we just mail them?

But there no key word to upload the gallery Are not suppose to upload the card? We make for the card drive?

Linda, you don't need a keyword for the card drive. You can just choose to send cards, they don't even have to be challenge cards.

so if coordinates Shannon challenge with card card drive two different cards and upload with keyword or just one with key words... And card drive we don't have to upload any? Too show what we made? Am I right? Dose go for all card divers Because the more?

Linda, if you read the first post in this thread, you'll see there is no keyword for this part. You can just send any cards you want, including Shannon's challenge card. Just make sure you add Shannon's keyword and upload a picture first if you are sending a challenge card.

Do Shannon's challenge, use her keyword and send the card to the card drive.
If you wish to send a few more along from your stash do that.
I you wish to do more cards for the card drive but they are not using Shannon's technique just upload them to your gallery with no keyword, and note in your write up that these are going to the card drive for... We will still comment on them!!

Only use Shannon's keyword if it fits her challenge. If it doesn't, you don't need to keyword it. |

Most of the card drive recipients are happy to receive card donations year-round, so there are no deadlines, unless it's mentioned in the description. |

Does it matter what color envelope? I will match it with the card, but until I restock I have more color envelopes than white.

Wow, I'm bit late getting into Falliday Fest (I thought I wouldn't do it this year at all...but it just pulls you in!)
So excited to see the first card drive is for a place near and dear to my heart. I work in the Neonatal ICU at the Cleveland Clinic, which is right down the street from this Ronald McDonald house. Many of our NICU moms and dads live far from the hospital, and have needed the services of Ronald Mc Donald House. I can't express how grateful they are to have this facility close to the hospital. Transportation to and from the hospital, meals, and so much more are offered to these parents. A great cause for a great organization!
