Challenge Title: A Thankful Heart
Hostess: Jeanne S Keyword: FF17JeanneS Date: 10.13.2017 My challenge coordinates with Card Drive #2 - Operation Quiet Comfort (see below for the wonderful things they do!) My challenge to you is to make Patriotic Thank you's with a heart somewhere on your project. Operation Quiet Comfort Operation Quiet Comfort exists solely for the purpose of honoring and comforting America�s military men and women who become sick and injured while serving in harm�s way. We also provide support to those who care for them. For this card drive, you are asked to send blank, patriotic thank you cards. Restrictions - No glitter or sharp objects or metal of any kind, no envelopes, and nothing stamped or written on the inside.[FONT=Century Gothic] Please package your cards carefully and mail them to: This card destination has approved year round donations, and so they will remain in our Cards for a Cause forum as an ongoing recipient. My son-in-law did two tours in Iraq and his health has definitely suffered, so this challenge hits home. I did five cards:

My contribution is very CAS, yet filled with our traditional red, white & blue. My Misti allowed precise use of white left0over pieces for the sentiment to fit the heart die ... Yaaaay! Even though the pic is just one, I will make/send a few more of the same design for our outstanding service men & women. Love this card drive organization!

I actually made a companion card for it, too, with the colors reversed on the stamped image-- couldn't visualize it in my head both ways, so had to stamp it. :) |
