This is so much fun to do! Hope everyone will give it a try! You know they would also make for great gift tags too! Just saying!! Here again is my sample! |
It was really nice to just sit and draw in these cute houses. |
|
I had fun with this, Dina! I now hav fabric glue coated fingers with stuff stuck to them! LOL. I had to use fabric glue to get the houses to stick to the cord! Here is my Gingerbread Garland. Thank you |
I have the houses finished but no clothespins anywhere! I went uptown to Dollar General but they are closed for remodeling! I tried clips and other things but clothespins will only work to my satisfaction so I may not be able to post for a few days.

2020BLITZ4 Snowflakes & Vines Gingerbread Houses
Dini- this was fun, thank you! I used the templates provided and using my cutting mat, rotary cutter and ruler cut out the houses after taping the photocopy to a craft sheet (my copier is cranky). I had some borders already in my stash which I used as my starting point for decorating. Added a reverse cut deer for my first one on the left, and lots of snowflakes and lacy touches. Here's my garland

I had forgotten how long it takes pigment ink to dry and how easy it is to smudge it. As I said in the description, I didn’t have a white pen to doodle details so I used multiple stamp sets and some additional card stock. |
Well, try as I might, I can't get my printer to work. I improvised and made my own gingerbread. I tried to replicate the cookies of my childhood. We decorated with white frosting and red hots. Below are 2 images: one of the banner in it's entirety and one of a close up of one of the cookies. |
Here's MY GARLAND

Here is my project. Thanks, Linda |

Here is my card, I finally got it done. Loved the challenge. |
So much fun and easily adapted to the Scan N Cut so I could cut more in less time. Also made them sturdier, gluing on recycled backing. Plan to send Gingerbread Garland kits to my granddaughters. I'm sure they will be a hit! Thank you!! https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...&ppuser=419683 by Lori "Artzadoni" |
This is a cute little garland tutorial!! Thanks! |
|
Here is my project. This one almost got the better of me!
|
Struggled at first, but was so happy how it turned out. Thanks for the fun challenge! |
I have difficulty with white gel pens. Only my signa worked, and it was slowing down with the last house. My paint marker and distress picket fence markers failed me hugely! Also, I found no stamps that would work, which was okay since all my white pigment pads were dried up! Freehand, and an ancient computer programming template worked... Anyway, here 'tis: garland

I thought I had loaded this days ago. Ggood thing I'm doing my tracking sheet tonight because I noticed that this wasn't up. |
This is my final upload of my very first Falliday Fest. Although it was sometimes a struggle between health & work, I did manage to complete ALL the challenges and Tutorials. Thanks to everyone who made this 2 week event possible - it was quite an experience for me.

Here is my Gingerbread Houses garland. Thanks for this tutorial - so fun!

Fun! Made some extra kits of this tutorial for some “littles” in our life! My white ink did not show up so I had to stamp in black. Also could not hang because I only had eight clothespins and one did not work:) Here’s mine. https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/3015761?cat=500&ppuser=57731

What a fun challenge. I loved that I was able to use so many of my stamp sets. You can see my card HERE.
|
I cut the houses into strips and did a little embossing across all of them before cutting apart. Seemed easier. Also I didn't do the traditional look. Fun!
