Okay - I'm back from Phoenix and worked on the reports today - they are now in the hands of my fact-checker!

So I will be doing the prize list soon and then after we've verified our data we can start DRAWINGS!

Oh no - you don't have to be "present" to win. It's really fun though

And I don't do drawings on the weekends, so if we don't start/finish this week it will pick up on Monday.

Whew! That was a good question Pansy, since I'll also be gone Thursday morning through late Saturday... and I can't take my computer where I'm going.

Thanks Lydia!

Question...

Not completely related to Falliday but kinda/sorta...

Is the last Weekly Inkling #536?

Also were there 9 Falliday Tutorials?

I did not get anything in my emails since Tutorial #9...wondering if I feel through the crack!

Hmmm...that was a wide crack to swallow me...

Any idea on how I fix the problem? I didn't get an email today which caused me to realize that I was in a crack...

Did you check junk mail folder? Maybe it went there. As for seeing past newsletters you can go to the home page, scroll to the bottom and click on weekly newsletters. In there you can see the previous ones.

It's refreshing to come on this site and not have to think about politics for a bit . Wanted to stamp this morning while the kids were at school but the dog was sure that it was time for his walk instead. Maybe this afternoon or maybe I'll check back later and the prize thread will be open !

They're like any of the technique galleries - you can go on uploading to them forever .

Okay peeps. Sabrina has done her magic checking the reports - everything is good, so prize drawings will start tomorrow afternoon!

(I have conference calls in the morning - sorry! )

I should have the prize thread up today!

What do you use for all your inside layers?

Also, how large is your base?

Maybe if I would watch the tutorial video I could answer my own questions!

Today I used 1" strips of bristol paper. Its pretty heavy yet not too heavy so I can form the rings. The bottom layer is 3" across, the middle layer is 2" across and the top layer is a mini m&m container cut down to about an inch high. I ran out of empty masking tape rolls for the bottom layer and button boxes for the middle layer so I had to make do with what I could find.

Might need to go looking for circle items...I am not a saver so the likelyhood of my having something is quite slim, wonder if Gina K Design heaviest paper would work for making rings...

Default Memories, Moose, Bears and Cameras

Forums at Splitcoaststampers is the link to my Memories, Moose, Bears and Cameras Nugget Cake. It has an extra non-chocolate layer of split birch logs. Each layer of nuggets is of same type...so the bottom layer is the plain Milk Chocolate, the next is Dark Chocolate with Almonds, and the top is Extra Creamy Milk Chocolate with toffee and almonds. It is going to a friend tomorrow. Have to design a way to transport it and keep it together. We share an addiction to photography and have attended workshops together and taken a couple of trips just for photography.
Faye, my rings were: layer with the birch logs,,,,,part of a papermache(sp) container purchased at Hobby Lobby just for this project. the next (first) candy layer is the bottom inch of a non-dairy coffee creamer bottle which DH sawed off for me. The second candy layer is a smaller papermache container. and the final candy layer is part of a 35mm film container. because I needed to have lids on the top two layers I used some padding (the white thin spongy stuff that comes with the prints of my photos and in some packing materials) to even out the bottom of the container with the lid. The pinecone "tree" full of cameras is just to remind us that we always need all our cameras.

This reminded me, I had bought a bag of nuggets last month to make the cake. I had hid the nuggets so I wouldn't eat them ahead of time (outta sight, outta mind), but ended up forgetting about them after running out of time for the Fall Fest challenges and not making the cake. Hmmm, now to make the cake or to just eat them....
