I did two challenges from last Tuesday, a Teapot and the Color challenge based on Lydia's comment that some days have more than one challenge. I am about to post my last one now and not worry more about it. It's Halloween and the next game in the World Series. We have some celebrating to do around here. Thanks all who participated as well as all the planners. Another great October on SplitCoast.

Thats how I understand it. Some days have two challenges in case you want a choice, or the difference between trying something new and doing a CAS card.

I did both title and keyword. I'm pretty sure the yeti instructions said to do both the challenge keyword and the FF17Yeti keyword.

I wish I had gotten more cards and tutorials done, but I really had fun making the ones that I did! Such fun, challenging, challenges! I'm keeping my spreadsheet for future inspiration!

I think what I have enjoyed the most is seeing everyone else's awesome creations in the gallery!

Huge thank you's to all the hostesses and moderators and everyone else for all the time and hard work you put in to make this happen!! You guys rock!!

And now I am inspired to try to do the daily challenges--I have had good intentions, but life sometimes just takes over....sigh....
I am already looking forward to Falliday Fest 2018!

Well it's midnight my time so yetis are in bed. I only finished 5 cards this year, tho I only posted 4 in time. Other priorities this month but this was a fun, therapy, me time, diversion for a few hours these past 2 weeks. I plan to still do some of the chellenges & tutorials for my own fun challenge. I'm so thankful for the challenge hosts and the behind the scene workers. I always look forward to reading thru everything and being inspired even if I don't have time to play. Off to bed myself but I'll be back to comment on more of the beautiful creations in the gallery

Good Morning... it's hard to believe that Falliday Fest 2017 is now officially over. It has been so much fun. I've been inspired by the creativity I've seen in the cards/projects made and the joy of new friendships forged is the icing on the cake. THANK YOU, one and all for making this event awesome!

Good luck to everyone in the process of "proving" your Yeti status... and congrats to everyone who made even one thing - getting Yeti is not what it's all about, getting inky is.

Didn't have a plan to be a Yeti but I'm thankful for Falliday Fest activities and challenges...all who posted as well

What I did this month was...

made 58 cards for donation to the local little hospital infusion bay area
made 17 birthday/sympathy cards to the local little hospital nurses (who asked in September if they could use some of the donation cards to send to their patients, I said I'll make you your own!)
made 2 cards for my personal use

Had a great time following this thread and today starts my new 90-day quick plan! Time to answer those questions and move on in my day, one of which is to package all those cards and deliver them this morning!

Yes! Huge thanks to all the hostesses and those behind the scenes moving things around, opening threads, answering questions and commenting on cards. It all makes the experience fun for all who participate. The challenges stretched me and taught me and made me smile. I have cards and projects made and great ideas for more! I also will be sending out some packages of cards for great causes and that feels good as well! I have had (and anticipate that I will have during the LOOOONNNNGGG prize process) fun chatting with you all!

Now that we've all spent gobs of time in our own galleries working on our lists and checking and double checking our cards for keywords, gallery location, etc. I have been thinking of some fun questions to occupy us while we wait for threads to open, etc.
Question #1 Which technique that you learned during Falliday Fest is sure to be a technique that you will use again? Answers can include more than one!

I really learned some new things and I am thrilled. I loved that mason jar tutorial even though it petrified me to begin with. I have some beautiful cards made, four card drives to remember for future cards, and fun decor to last through Thanksgiving, although my granddaughter stopped by in her cat costume last night and talked me out of a Christmas ornament and the luminary, lol.

With a 90-day plan in mind I will not be delivering the cards today as tomorrow will be my errand day and I will add the hospital stop to my list!

Feel so successful though I only uploaded 6 cards for Falliday Fest I did use inspiration from the challenges to make several other of my 75 cards this month.

It amazes me how many options there are for challenges...and I even used Pinterest for some layout sketches!

I can see why she wanted those! TheKemernow's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers in the warm colors is gorgeous. Your FF17Tutorial8 Floral Topper by Kemernow at Splitcoaststampersr is fabulous in the bright colors! I want to do another since I cut mine a bit small the first try.

probably every single one of the backgrounds although I have not tried the sparkle shaving cream yet. ( I still have 2 tutorials printed out to try) (soon) but, probably after Thanksgiving, my table goes into tag production mode during these next two weeks.

and for those of you who think its done, think again, soon another chat thread will open so we can have more chat time while we get to see more gorgeous pieces that will win sponsor gifts. (Lydia will have questions you can either know the answer or guess to it)

Thank you for jump starting me into the gallery Gail! Commenting is my main goal now. It's so much more relaxing now. I was feeling so guilty during Falliday but I simply can't do it all! Now I can focus on commenting!!

Thank you to all the hostesses for all your hard work, all your inspiration and all your love in our galleries! It is like Christmas in October! This and DTGD are my favorite times on SCS! My favorite new to me technique is the Pull Out Panel Card, and I will definitely be making more like that! There were so many fun techniques and I loved being stretched to do new things- I can say that with a straight face now that it is over! LOLAnyway, thank you Lydia, and to all you wonderful hostesses! Can’t imagine all the hard work that went into making an event like this so successful!

Question #1 Which technique that you learned during Falliday Fest is sure to be a technique that you will use again? Answers can include more than one!
Using Alcohol Inks! I had no idea how fun & addictive that can be! I have purchased more colors & more glossy CS, & can't wait to start using them!

It's always fun when a simple technique gives dramatic results! I bought more alcohol inks too though I have not splurged on YUPO paper yet.

I'm with you on liking the stretching once it's done! I love FF17TUTORIAL7Q A Note For DGD sm by smadson at Splitcoaststampers. I haven't tried it yet myself.
