Oh Marsha, that is very pretty. Just a reminder... do you think you can come to the Rubber Stamp Sale (in Laurel) on Saturday?

Haylie - thanks so much for sharing that testimony. It's so important for us to know/remember how He is there for us when we are hurting.

Awesome. I just found this challenge today from another challenge! I really look forward to making the box and scripture cards. I agree that it's essential to memorize God's Word and need to do a lot more myself.
I think that I'll start with the verse that saved my life: Psalm 95:3.

I'm Late
I know I'm late for June but here it is...I'm working on a healthy eating and exercising program and have begun to search for verses that will help me do that. Here's mine: 1 Cor 6:19
Here's another called Reinker Coloring.

I've really enjoyed looking at all of your scripture pages/items. I made Ephesians 4:29-32 a couple months ago...but never uploaded it until tonight. I just make Habakkuk 3:17-18 tonight. I hope you like them...they're also my first "scrapbook" pages.

This is such an awesome challenge. Just saw it now for the first time. What a great way to dig into the word and work with scripture. I would love to join in. Do you just work with any scripture verses that you would like to, or are there suggested verses? Thanks and looks awesome, Jessica

Hi,
I'm Shirl, I would love to do this but I don't really understand how you submit a card or what is a thread. i joined splitcoaststampers 2 weeks or so ago. This is my first try.
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Hi, Shiangel, the verse at the end of your post really grabbed me, since it's referenced in my signature and I recently made a Divine Design page featuring it.
Welcome to SplitcoastStampers!! This is a thread. It's a string of posts (messages) strung together...like a conversation.
For this thread the challenge is to take a verse from the Bible and create a scapbook page, card or other item featureing a verse. You can see 2 in my gallery by clicking on my name and selecting "view mrslfd3's gallery" from the drop-down menu. Reread the first post in this thread to be sure you have all the right information in your gallery listing so it will be included with the other items listed under this challenge.
When you're ready to post your project, you can either take a picture with a digital camera or scan it, then you can upload it to your gallery. To do that you'll go to the link "gallery" at the top of this page, select "my gallery" and then "upload." you'll select the item from your computer files and fill in the information below it. Be sure to include BVC08 in the keyword area and the Bible reference in the title of the pic.
I sure hope that's clear and helpful. I look forward to seeing your creations.
Angela

What a wonderful idea. I just saw the link to this challenge from Taylor over at Tayloredexpressions. I would love to join, even though it is half way through the year. Better late than never. What a great way to keep scripture in our daily and monthly lives. Thank you for the inspiration!

Here's one way, in a box. Here's the one I made which is from Rainy. Her link is in my post as well.
http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=34518
I keep this in my crafting area where I spend a lot of time and it is right there so I can read and memorize and think about my card for the month. Then I work on another card for the next month. The box gives me a place to store the cards that I'm not using.
Have fun with it and grow in your knowledge of the Lord.

Coming up with verses

Coming up with verses is really up to you. For me it's been verses that speak to me when I'm reading the Bible or for instance right now I'm working hard to eat healthy and exercise, so I did a search for verses that had something to do with food.
Some people use verses that are on rubber stamps. Usually they buy the stamps because they mean something to them.
Some people type their verse and use something that is a favorite verse or means something to them. It's totally up to you what you use. Hope that helps.

This is a great challenge. There were so many projects to case. I like the book format and just saw one using a rolodex that was gorgeous! But I decided to try Rainy's scripture box. Her box and cards are awesome!
I used the wrong adhesive, so my box is a bit funny shaped, and I had difficulty with the placement of the jumbo eyelets. I hope to get it right next time., because this would be a great project for some of my customers and friends. Here's my box with my first verse

What a cool project idea! I have really been trying to memorize more scripture this year. I saw and plan to case a chipboard book- wouldn't one per year be great to look back on?!?
I'm so glad you ladies thought to share this with us, I just wish I'd found you sooner!

I've subscribed to this thread. Definitely a challenge I NEED. I'm hoping to make mine into a 6x6 album - we shall see. I tend to get caught up on the details and lose sight of the the goal. Something that I'm working on.
Note to each of you: Thank you for encouraging me with your beautiful creations and choice of scripture.
