Default A Muse Studio is Closing

I received a email today about them closing.. So sad to see another company go. Here is the email Dear Consultants,
It is very difficult for me to let you all know that I have decided to retire and will be closing A Muse Studio in the near future. A Muse has been a part of my life, and my family’s life, for the past sixteen years and it has been an amazing experience - truly unforgettable. The best part has been the inspiring, creative, and positive people that I have encountered on this journey, especially A Muse Studio Creative Consultants. Your dedication and support of A Muse Studio is humbling and I am so appreciative.

In the past few years, I have been through many personal challenges. These experiences have made me realize that time is short and I wish to focus my time on my daughters while they are still at home, my aging mother, and the fun task of planning my wedding to my wonderful fiancé, Bill.


The November Collection will be the last from A Muse Studio and it is the perfect finale! Consultants and Customers will be able to purchase A Muse Studio products through November 27th. At 11:59 pm on November 27th customers will no longer be able to shop on the current website to allow for end-of-month processing and reporting to ensure that commissions are paid. You’ll want to be sure that your contact and banking information is up to date in your business center.

All Consultants will remain active through November 27th, unless you choose otherwise.

Effective immediately, we will no longer accept backorders for out-of-stock items. Any items currently on back order will ship to customers as soon as stock is replenished. The PAL will be updated daily and will list items that are out of stock and no longer orderable.

The A Muse Studio Lounge is now closed, however, we will keep the Chit Chat forum open through November 27th for Consultants who wish to remain in touch.

If you have any questions, please email answers amusestudio.com. We will continue to monitor this email account through the end of November.

I think the handwriting has been on the wall for a while now. I used to love their images, but haven't been a fan for several years. Sorry to see this happen as there are some wonderful consultants that have been with A Muse since going the direct sales route (I was a consultant for two years). I wish Linda all the best.

Yup! Sad to see them closing, especially since I had just joined in September! Looking back, I should have see it all when I received my consultant kit. It looked like they had just thrown products in there to get rid of them. Nothing matched, the papers didn't go well with each other, the ribbons didn't go with the papers and I even had brads and eyelets in my kit, which I had not used in YEARS! Not to mention, there was no art to support the kit as there had been with previous kits. They announced that they were no longer printing their catalogs, plus no art was in the catalog. All signs that I completely ignored.

All in all I invested close to $800 in products so I could build my business and start holding workshops. Had one person sign up under me and another was considering it, till I told her the company announced they were closing. I signed up on September 14th, they announced they were closing on October 27th.

I feel bad for everyone involved. I'm sure it was a difficult decision for Linda to have to make and I understand that family always comes first. Just wish they wouldn't have taken my $99 consultant fee and promised me an opportunity to build a business.

Moved on to SU! now. Looking forward to continuing my journey with them!
