Photoshop Elements Has Just Released Version 9!
I got an e-mail from Linda Sattgast at Scrapper's Guide today announcing that Adobe just released a new version! (9) It has layer masks and an out-of-bounds technique, mirror reflection and many more cool features. If you want to read more, here's the link:
Photoshop Elements 9 released today
Tutorial CDs by Linda Sattgast have been included in the last couple of PSE versions when purchased at Costco. She's good with tutorials!.

I don't belong to Costco but someone I work with does. You'll have to let me know when the possible coupon comes out at Costco cause I think I definitely want to get the newer version...particularly since it has the out-of-bounds technique in it. Just can't seem to get that one and seem to be spending entirely too much time trying!

Hopefully, I'll hear when a coupon comes out for Costco and I'll post the info!

I am so in love with this version. I downloaded the trial version from Adobe.com before Christmas and just had it expire. I am waiting on my copy from Amazon ($50 after rebates!). I had version 2 before this, so I am despirate need of an upgrade! I can't wait to start digiscrapping! This is so new to me, but looks like fun!

I finally loaded version 9 onto my computer and am enjoying it. I had version 7, so mine hasn't changed all that much, but I'm sure you'll have a ball with the changes from 2 to 9!! Enjoy!

I hope you join us more in the scrapping pages...your layouts are lovely. I can't wait to see what you do with the PSE9. I got it for Christmas but haven't used it yet. I'm still trying to figure out the new laptop I got as well that I downloaded it onto. We do have a monthly goals thread that you can get to on the home page. Would love to see you there and then everyone would get to see your work! We need more digi scrappers!

I love digi scrapping and have started using Photoshop for all of my pages now. I have the 4.0 and am looking to upgrade, so I will have to look into 9 if you all think that it is a good upgrade. I have been trying to find the forum for Digi Scrapbooking and haven't found a whole lot. The ones I have found haven't had any posting in awhile. Am I missing something or is there not much on here yet?

There are no current challenges being offered but some of us do digi-scrap. The digi challenges were often done by beginners who wanted tutorials, etc., and we don't have anyone here who cared to host a forum like that. So, we just do the regular challenges and add them to the digital scrapbooking gallery.) (There's a place in the upload window where you can choose Scrapbooking / Digital.)
To view digital pages: Click on Gallery at top of home page, scroll down to fourth row of images and click on Scrapbooking Pages, then scroll down to Digital Scrapping.
P.S. I have Photoshop Elements 9 and love it!

I started out with 7.0 and just upgraded to 9.0. If you're upgrading, I would go with 9.0...I'm not real good with it yet but surf the net for tutorials and ideas and then use them here for the weekly challenges. It's amazing what You can do to make digi look like "real" paper scrapping!
