We're into week 3 of this month's progressive challenge. I hate to even mention it, but in less than two weeks it will be October and we'll be thinking about Halloween plans!

PLEASE NOTE! Although this is in the digiscrap threads, anyone is welcome to play--whether they're a digi, paper or hybrid scrapper. Just as the digiscrappers, when doing a traditional challenge, sometimes have to change up the instructions a little to fit their digi needs, the traditional scrappers might have to improvise on some of the digi techniques. It should make things interesting!

PROGRESSIVE CHALLENGE #4 – TASK 3 (SEPT. 2012)

The challenge for this week is pretty simple:

-Add a flower and leaves or a cluster on top of the left edge of your photo. It can go off the edge of the paper if desired.

-Add a longish embellishment to the top right that extends from the right edge vertically into the page. This could be a paper strip, ribbon, branch, cloud or other elongated object.

-Add at least four other embellishments on some of the hexagons or photo(s).

NOW UPLOAD:

- Remember to first save your page in its original version to maintain your layers, so you'll be able to make additions in the final task next week.

- Save your page for the web as a .jpg (600x600 or less) & upload to the Challenge 4-Task 3 Gallery by adding the keyword DGSCPR004Task3 when you upload. Please also post this week’s work in this thread.

it's getting busy, no? i struggled with that tear mask, not the mask per say, but shadowing it so it did not look flat. i think it's ok.

I struggled finding embellishments to add to the hexagons and photos ... so I went with some stamps.
At first I really couldn't figure out where to put a flower ... it just didn't seem to be a "flowery" LO ... but it made its way there.

Next month, I need to go with some different colours. I'm tired of this Number One kit already. (I used it in the spring to make an album about my visit to the Alamo). But at least photos are getting onto pages!
