DGC022 Font 3/31/09

I love fonts-when I was paper scrappin-I loved my Cricut because I could cut out the titles and before that the Cuttlebug and before that the stamped alphas-I just love fonts--so when I found www.dafont.com well I am so very excited-thousands of free fonts

SO my challenge to you this week is to go to www.dafont.com and find a font you like, download it, install it and use it on a page-

Here is my example

For April and May your name will go in a drawing for a half moon alterable mini album-I will take a pic and post it soon

Make sure you add DGC022 to your keywords (additional keywords are OK, just separate them with commas), and PLEASE post a link here in this thread; we would NOT want to miss it! Also, if you aren't a FAN CLUB member, please observe the NO UPLOAD on SUNDAY rule!

This one should be fun and easy. Bouquet of Pixels just posted a font challenge for April too. You come up with great ideas!

Found some GREAT fonts, downloaded them but can't open them any suggestions I REALLY want to play along?......I'm still learning how to use my computer.:rolleyes:

You need to unzip them from wherever you downloaded them and then move them into the Windows/Fonts directory. Then they should be part of your font list when you go to select a font. If you want, see if that works for you and then PM me if you need more help.

What a fun challenge Valerie. So many fonts to choose from on dafont.com site. I used some dingbats too. They are fun to use. Here is my link. Thanks for looking. Candy, I sent you a message, just wondering what program you are using. I do not download the fonts to my font folder, I just open them and minimize the file and then I can find it in the drop down list of text types.

And if you have Vista you have to unzip them to your desktop and then physically pull them into your open fonts in your windows in your computer place-took me forever to figure this out:-D

I did another layout for DGD's bd album. I entered it in this challenge but I did not get the keyword right, I tried to edit that but it doesn't look like it worked. Loved this challenge Valerie, fonts are so much fun. Here is the link to layout in my gallery.

I've noticed that several of you have entered your layouts in other challenges. Where do I find the info about those? I have been looking for the info on SBC09APR but do not find it.

SBC09APR isn't a challenge, it's just the code for pages you've done in April. Anyone going there can view all the pages that have been done in April (if the people use that code in their keywords). I use it as a quick way to view everyone's pages when I don't have time to keep up with the goals thread. Not everyone uses it, but I always try to remember to put it in my keywords when I post a page.
