Hi Everyone!
Thank you for playing in the last digital challenge! It was fun to see all the ways everyone used the grey scale items and recolored! You all are fantastic! I got some great ideas from your pages.
I must apologize for being late with this challenge. I hope you are going to like it! I've noticed a trend in scrapbooking involving the look of photos and clusters all around them. I remember when I first started scrapping, I never let any of the items touch each other and kind of spaced things all around the page. I thought they were beautiful and I still enjoy the learning process of scrapbooking. So let's allow those items to touch and to overlap and create all kinds of clusters, it could be flowers and ribbons and any other kind of adorable digital element. The idea is to overlap and cluster the items around a central area of photos or other elements. You can have a huge amount of "white space" with a cluster or you can have a busy background and still have a cluster - similar to the one I am posting as my example.
So your challenge this time is to create clusters. Group them around photos or other elements. Any color, any item, any number of photos you'd like to use.
Have a great time with this new challenge. I hope you learn some fun new things and have a creative and fun challenge. If you have any questions, please let me know or post in this thread. There are many talented members here who can answer questions and give out more ideas.
So let's get ready to have fun, to share ideas and to inspire each other with out layouts!

Thanks for a great challenge, Laura! Hi Wendy! Hi Candy! Good to "see" you again! This week has slowed down a bit, so maybe I can play along some...not sure...trying to "de-clutter" the mess I live in!!! So tired shuffling things from here to there and back again! Enough said, I'd better get off this computer and start de-cluttering...then maybe I can reward myself with some digi scrappin time!

I forgot yesterday was Tuesday...so sorry! Rough/busy day at work so I sort of crashed last night and didn't do too much. Clustering on my own is difficult since I don't do coordinating too well but I've got a website that gives out lots of super clustering elements. Maybe I can add this to last time's challenge since I haven't gotten that far yet when I get the chance!
What a great start for the cluster challenge! Even if clustering isn't your thing or you don't feel comfortable with it, it's good to push our creativity and see what happens. Just looking in the gallery is very inspirational, great work on the challenge!
Oh goodie, Kristie, what a lovely layout, it looks so inviting, too. Overlapping the photos and creating the clusters makes for a very beautiful page-thanks for playing!:p
Last night I came across this digi FREEBIE offer from Designer Digitals. I don't think it's going to be available much longer (not sure), but it's well worth a look!
Oh Wendy, your Say Cheese page is awesome! Left a little love in the gallery for you! When you finish these pages, your album is going to be a treasured gift, it's off to a great start!
And Terry, I am so enjoying your wonderful layouts of Disney. Is this Disney World in Florida? Your page is so happy and festive. it's wonderful that you made so many of your own elements to the page.

Ok, I'm a first time challenger! Hi guys - I'm Tee. Not even sure if I uploaded it correctly. I put it in my gallery (I think) with DCG055 in the title.
Hi Tee,
Welcome to the challenges. I am thrilled you joined us, your layout is absolutely stunning! Great use of the cluster technique and the circles and swirls are fantastic. I hope you'll join us for the rest of the challenges, too!:p
Thanks Laura - and thanks for all the comments on the page. I'm working my way through yours and I have to say, I'm glad I didn't look at yours before I did mine! LOL

Wow...super layout. Please do more so we can all get more inspiration. I love digi since I can try things and just delete if I don't like it. I have such a hard time doing traditional paper pages for challenges and tend to do more adventurous things with online supplies that I know I wouldn't even try with real stuff! Welcome!
I'm with you, Terry. Delete and undo, my favorite buttons. When I do create a card or paper scrapbook page, I find myself creating it digitally first so I can do all the cutting over and over again to get it right. Then I only have to cut that pretty piece of paper once. LOL
