Not sure if anyone is interested but you can turn your own handwriting into a font for your computer. I did this a few years ago and glad I did. The site is yourfonts.com. In January of every year there is a national handwriting day and they do offer it free one day a year. The key to success is to print the papers and follow the directions to a T. I printed one set and did penmanship in the other set. On the free day you can submit as many as you want. The print came out great but the penmanship was disconnected since I was not careful with the directions. You will need a scanner to send it back to them. You can print and prepare in advance or simply purchase if you want it immediately. I hated the journaling since I often messed up. This took care of the problem and it's fun and perfect for digital scrapping.
Thank you very much for this information. I completely new to digital scrapbooking and am looking for new tips. I am planning to create family history albums this year and give them as Christmas gifts. I have some letters my father wrote when he served in WWII. I might be able to create a font with these letters to use in my albums. He passed away in 1993 so this would be an awesome addition. I haven't purchased a digital software program yet. I'm doing research now to figure out which one will be the best for me.
Nancy this is awesome! I'm going to do this - not having my own handwriting on digital pages is probably one of the main things about straight digital that disappoints me!

These are good ideas! Depending on how much you think you would use it, you can also purchase a pen tablet such as the Wacom brand. This will not only allow you to add in had written pieces to your digital pages, but you can also draw, etc. with it.
