Today, right this minute, I'm thankful that my loved ones and I are safe from the earthquake! We've never felt on that big here in VA, and it was quite an experience!
Glad you guys are okay Taylor. Felt it all the way down here in North Carolina. Never experienced anything like it. My chair started shaking and I couldn't tell if it was the chair or my body; thought I might be having a seizure or something.
I live in PA and I felt it and knew immediately what it was. I can't believe it was in DC and I felt it here. Then I heard that it was a "shallow" quake and therefore spread out over a much larger area. Glad there is nothing serious in the way of damage or injuries.
Certainly not expected on the East Coast. Not a quake this size, anyway!
Amen, Taylor. So thankful God protected you all. I didn't feel it here but my son did and he was sitting 5 feet away from me so apparently I was oblivious ;). My hubby also felt it and he works about an hour north of where we were when it happened.
Big hugs!!
