Color Combo Challenge #16
This week was inspired by an awesome card I got from lisastamper
Real Red, Basic Black, and Kraft
If you don't have kraft paper I suppose creamy caramel would do the trick?
GO for it!

don't have su papers...
Well, since I don't have any su papers, I'm going to improvise. sounds like it would make a great Christmas card with the new stamps I bought at Hobby Lobby today...hehehe.

my finished card
Here it is. Red, black and something relatively close to caramel. No SU! papers, so I did the best I could getting close. It is still pending...but here is the link:
http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...cat=500&page=1
I also posted some new Christmas cards at the same time, so they will be up soon too. I'm starting to get into the Christmas cards (finally) so maybe I can get some good work done this next week and weekend.
Happy Stampin!

Here's my contribution. Love this color combo, but now I am out of all these papers! Time for the new catty!
Thanks, MamaKimberly, for posting this cool challenge.

I finished mine, but had to use Creamy Caramel as I'm out of Kraft. I have to say that SU reds bug me. Real Red paper does not match Real Red ink and the Red grosgain is also different in color. But then that is the nature of reds. I've found this to be true with embroidery floss and fabric as well. Reds are the hardest colors to match!!

I had two out of three colors . . .
I removed one of the two images I had. They were finally approved this morning.
So, here it is again.
Thank You Pocket Card

This was fun! My first time participating in a daily challenge. Thanks for the inspiration (I would never have paired real red & creamy caramel on my own...)!

My friend Bekster talked me into trying this challenge. Thought I would play since it seems everyone has a lot of fun with these challenges. All the cards I have seen thus far have been really inspiring.
Here's my card....don't know if it's been approved or not...

Here is my CC16 challenge! I was thinking of doing a totally different card and realized I had only scraps of my basic black card stock! I also don't have any Kraft, so I used a brown paper bag. The embelishment is a $ bargain find... big lots have "Decorative Details" spools of 2 feet to 6 feet for .99 Ya got to love that store!
My CC16 card!

I really liked the way these turned out. I was feeling slightly ambitious yesterday, so they also fit the technique and sketch challenges.

Here's one from me. I think VSN must have finished me off. I'm really uninspired this week. I wanted to combine TLC18, CC16 and SC27 but I just couldn't do it. Instead I'm stuck on pocket cards (SC26). So here goes:
http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...cat=500&page=1
Thanks for looking.
