We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Good Morning,Color Lovers! It is my pleasure to be your hostess again this week. Before we get to this week's colors, let's celebrate last week's favorite!
Diane was our hostess, and she chose Daisy Birthday by Terri aka die cut diva.
Diane said: "Everyone did a fabulous job with the colors; there was such a nice variety. I kept coming back to Terri’s fresh & cute as a daisy birthday card. I loved her CAS design and her use of the Highland Heather gingham & a big die-cut daisy. She even carried the look to the inside of her card. Nicely done!"
Congratulations, Terri! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out here.
Because it's a new month, we also have two new guest designers. Please welcome two talented paper artists, Pam aka Pam MacKay and Kris aka KristineB. Pam was Mary's fave from CC954 and Kris was Mary's fave from CC960. Our September galleries are going to be spectacular!
And now, on to this week's colors.
Moody Mauve Misty Moonlight Copper Clay
Did you know that you are always welcome to use the Neutral family from the SU color palette in addition to the challenge colors? You can find the list of neutrals here.
This week, the dessert option is to use a DIE-CUT on your creation.
Please keep in mind that while SU colors are listed for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!
Please put CC964 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card.

Anyone, besides me, having trouble opening individual cards in the CC gallery?? The gallery shows up, but cannot leave comments. This is the error message. AssertionError: assert(is_numeric($value) || $value == 'fav') in /var/www/www.splitcoaststampers.com/SCS23-06-R1/includes/sphinxapi.php on line 825

I thought it was just me but I cannot open the cards individually to comment!

Thanks, Barbara, for the guidance. I hope it can be fixed soon.

Solution: For those who wish to view enlargements, read writeups and comment, bring up the Gallery thumbnails, take note of the maker's screen name. Go to Gallery, then type the person's screen name in the search field. Their gallery will come up and you can click on the desired card.
Such a great color challenge! Combined it with this week's sketch challenge- blue for the sky and button/die cut circle/bow combo, and brown for these cute little critters! Here's Squirrelly HB

I don't own a single one of the new in-colors, but I loved the look of this Color Combo challenge, so I used the closest things I had on hand. THANKS so much for a fun challenge!

Thanks for the challenge using some of the new SU colors. I like the Copper - and am happy that Misty Moonlight is back. Still on the fence with the Mauve...
