CC701 - A Crazed and Crushed Pumpkin in the Meadow (8/21/18)
Good Tuesday Morning, Color Lovers! It is my pleasure to be your hostess again this week!
I know we're all eager to learn who won last week's contests! The Color Challenge Team members are picking our favorites, and we're working on announcing the Grand Prize winner. Please give us a few more days, and watch our boards. Mary will be posting the announcement later in the week! Winners will be notified by Private Message (PM). And a big thank you to everyone who played last week. There were some beautiful cards, and a few industrious artists who made a card for each of the five challenges!
While we're waiting, let's make a card for this week's Color Challenge! It's #701 for us, and here are the colors:
Crushed Curry Pumpkin Pie Cajun Craze Mossy Meadow
Please keep in mind that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC701 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card!

Love working with fall colors so this challenge was definitely in my comfort zone. It was difficult to see where to add color to the leaves because utility workers cut off power so they could replace transformers in our area! Spritzed with water after coloring the leaves before stamping.

Terrific color combo. Even though our summer heat will go on through September, it is nice to think of cooler weather! I combined with the Sketch Challenge for this week.
Thank you for the gorgeous autumn colors, Barbara! I also discovered a new variety of apple when I watercolored my image, Autumn Russet, it has a lot of red and orange ;p Here is my card, You're Sweet

Playing challenge catch-up...here is my card, which uses all the right color shades in my Golden Mandarin peony bloom that I colored with my Copic markers: Happy Wishes for a Dear Friend.
