OK, I finally got a chance to stamp. I combined the technique challenge (TLC44) with the color challenge (CC42), but just made a card. I used the hot card technique (TLC12). Here's my hot card.
I've been getting by with a select few (well, not a "few" according to my Dh...lol) ink pads this entire year and for christmas I got....the complete set of markers!!!! So now I can finally participate in most of the CC challenges, yay!!!
This is my first attempt to use the Heartfelt Thanks set. It's a fun set but I couldn't come up with something too original but I like the colors together better than I thought.
Hello! I'm a little new to all of this and I'm not sure how to "thread" if I've tried (and I stress the word TRIED) one of the challenges. I thought we were stamping, not sewing! LOL! Oh wait! We sometimes sew on our cards (never mind), but I'm almost positive that's not what we're talking about here. I'm thinking it is something computerish. Can anybody help me out? Thanks a bunch! -Kimberly

Kimberly, when you upload your card, click it to bring the card up on the screen by itself. Then go up to where the web "address" shows, highlight it, type control C to copy the link. Then come back here to reply to the thread. Once you have a thread open, type control V to paste it to the thread. Hope this helps.
I think I have set a new record.....I made two cards in one day. (for the same challenge) Woo-Hoo!!! I was looking around my stamp room and went through a pile of stamp sets that I wanted to get rid of. I noticed that these two sets coordinate!!! I decided to keep both sets!! ;)

I didn't know you could do it that way!!! I would always highlight the address bar then right click on the mouse and press copy. I would then come back to this page and right click again and hit paste. Your way seems easier!! I can't wait to try it!!!
I'm always in a quandry whether or not we are allowed to use an accent color. I tried this card using no Old Olive and then with Old Olive - much better with, so I hope it's ok. Thanks for taking a look. Sue

Another way to do it is when you are looking at your gallery, simply right click the TITLE of the card you want to link and then select copy and then come here and hit CRTRL + V and it will past the link in...
Thanks to all of you who gave me help and different ways to thread my color challenge card. Now I can't wait until this evening when I can try the sketch challenge for the week. My Goodness...This is addicting!!!!
I like these colors together! Here's my attempt (the crosshatch barely shows on the red and the scanner washed out the flower colors, but I'm still learning about all this techie stuff) -
