Here we go! Another trio of colors! In order to be fair to all of the new colors as well as some of the older hues, I must use all. That includes this new cajun craze. I think cajun craze looks like aged chilly powder....you know when you have had it too long in the spice rack...lol! I tried to find a doable trio of colors that seem to compliment each other, but not force the card to be too dark. I was truly impressed with the results. So, before you think no way.....give it a try! I am sure you will be amazed!

Baja Breeze(or sage shadow)
Wild Wasabi
Cajun Craze(Really Rust sponged with versamark)
Neutrals of Choice
This week's dessert option: Say it in squares or strips! Started seeing more and more where sentiments are done with little squares of each letter or (circles)...or someone cuts out a quote into strips and puts it on their card. Give it a try! I call it chicklet lettering or strip sentiments. There may be a more fancy name for it, but I do not know. I like the look, though.
I got Anne, Julia, and Mary to sample with me this week! Thanks so much for helping me out last minute, too!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC289 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
Thanks SO much for giving us some equivalent colors, Betty! That's a GREAT help....now I realize you can't list every paper manufacturer, but the PTI ones are terrific for me.
I found these colors a little hard to work with myself.....they are all pretty colors, but no great idea jumped into my mind. I did a very simple card this week. Thanks for getting me really thinking tho'. : )
For the record, I have tried to edit the spelling in my initial post. I know that chili is not spelled chilly. The chili powder is not chilly powder....like it is cold. Truly a typo, but for some reason I cannot edit it! I have the most issues with some editing buttons! LOL!
Betty, these colors are beautiful together. I have to tell you that I have been using the color challenge combinations to help me with my home decorating updates/decisions that we are beginning to work on. I am totally intimidated by color and these are making the decisions so much easier! Thanks for helping me decorate!

....this made me laugh for whatever reason...perhaps because I am sitting here in my office...chilly??
Thanks Betty for including some close color alternates. Since I don't have all the new colors yet (or the in colors) this really helps a lot. But I will have to play tomorrow as I'm babysitting, then DGD plays away volleyball tonight.
Thanks again for the alternates.
