Jen, you're da bomb for thinking up this color combo even if it was an accident! I bought Orchid Opulence w/ my free merchandise money and was surprised to see that it is a very unpopular color. I rarely use it myself, but I really do love this color combo!!
I combined a few challanges for this one. I have only done one shaker card in my life, but after finishing this one I am hooked for life! Can't wait to do another as a mini scrapbook page, the "frame" is square and the price is afforable! Will be doing this one at my next stamp camp for sure! Thanks for looking!
I finally figure out a way to play in the color challenge without all the paper and Kim isn't even hostess this week, that's okay another Michigan girl is great.
Okay Jen, it must be a Michigan thing because I didn't think those colors were that bad sounding when I read them. I often use red and purple or either with yellow so why not all three!
I had to use white paper but I think it worked okay. Please let me know if you think these will work for teen boys!
Well I just uploaded my card and noticed as the unapproved card popped into the Easy Elegance gallery that Emilymomto3boys and my card are oh so similar. I promise Emily...I didn't even see your card before this.
When I first pulled out the three ink colors for this challenge I almost gasped. I did not think I would even like anything I made with them. Thanks Jen for pushing the bar.....even though...it was an accident. I loved that little story. I really like the combination in my garden scene watercolor card.
Here's two that I made for this color challenge. I'm glad to have some time to play again! Thanks for the unique color combo that I doubt I would have tried on my own!
I like this color combo...I only had So Saffron ink, so was limited in what I could do. Not my favorite card. Oh well...it was fun participating in the challenge. Here's mine: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I think I messed up the links, I repeated one card and left one out. They are not approved yet, but hopefully will be soon. Here is the one I forgot, I think!
Yay, I was so glad to finally get to play in the challenges again today (one child back in school today -- yippee!) LOL At first I didn't think I could get these colors to make anything I'd be happy with but ended up liking them (and think I'll go make another birthday card that I need so badly!).
I wanted to join in after viewing all the great samples, especially Jen's but realized too late I used the wrong color red; Hope you don't mind a substitute since I had no Rose Red to start over with! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

DS is back in school, company is gone. YEAh, life is back to normal, well, what we call normal. LOL Got to stamp today and finish a challenge. Woo Hoo....Off to do more. Thanks for looking.
I took the plunge and decided to try a color challenge. This is my first, and what an unusual combination! I made my card before I looked at all the fabulous ones here...and all I can say is WOW! You girls are all VERY inspiring. Thanks for the fun.
Thanks to Rox for showing me how to attach the link...hope this works!

This is my challenge. I made an oops when entering description and I never completed it. But it's on the comment section.
Everything that could go wrong went wrong, from dropping stamps, to markers not matching ink pads to ripping the punched hole that the ribbon goes through, but hey I guess that is why they call it a challenge.
My first time to participate in a challenge; I loved all the samples I looked at but sure didn't like my finished product. LOL! Thanks for stretching me; hopefully the next one will flow a bit easier...and I might even like it when I'm done!
Here is my attempt at this week's color challenge. Thanks, Jen. I don't think I would have put these colors together. Don't expect subtle like all the other beautiful cards you ladies have done. Mine is BOLD:
OK, here is one of mine. I need to upload the other one I made. I forgot to put it on the description, but I stamped Canvas with So Saffron over the Print Pattern. The scan doesn't show it that good. OK, here it is...
OK, here is my second try. This scan is HORRIBLE!! I don't care for this card to much, but the scan makes it look super duper crappy. Oh well, here it is...
Here's two more that I did using these pretty colors and the emerging colors technique. I was deciding what to do for a Team Swap tonight. I ended up doing the first design I'd come up with, the "Emerging Hearts" card.
I took the plunge with my first 'challenge' card and did a duo. This is a color challenge card but I combined it with the ways to use it challenge for this week.
