Default Rubber breaking down

Some of my rubber stamps the rubber is hard and the design is breaking down. They are good stamps - All Night Media. I used the stamp cleaner from Michaels - Stamp-N-Stuff. Any suggestions how to prevent this from happening to other stamps? They aren't in direct light or near heat.

Some of my SU did too. I have no idea why some do and some don't.

wiping your rubber stamps after cleaning with a baby wipe keeps the rubber soft nd pliable, also works on brayers

Oh no! Wow, I dont use any of the right things. I just toss them in water and when I get around to cleaning them I just a stiff bristle brush. Ooooh, I may want to rethink that. This has happened to me ... yet. Thanks for the thread.

SU's Stampin' Mist is supposed to make your stamps more pliable, as well. I've never had this issue, so I'm really not an expert.
