She wasn't able to post it so we'll get it posted for her....but please play along and welcome her! So Kelli Jo wants us to be inspired by a work of art from Salvadore Dali. Yes, Yes he is a weirdo!!! LOL There are some art pieces that had me tilting my head and crossing my eyes and I still thought it looked wacky! But there were definitely some gorgeous pieces as well! I loved what he did with flower petals and butterflies!! |
CAS404 Green and Gold
Love your gallery, Kelli! I was inspired by this wonderful card- went with a blue/green/gold color scheme using the shaving cream technique- adding a simple Christmas Tree with a wrap around floss border. Finished with a fleur de lis lower border. Here's Green and Gold

I love the work of Salvador Dali, he is very unique and versatile. I always loved the melting clocks so had to go with that today:

Very challenging! I wasn't going to do it as I'm totally in Christmas card mode, but out of curiosity, I googled Dali and Christmas, and discovered that he designed a series of avant garde Christmas cards - who knew? I was so inspired by one of them that I made two cards based on it:
