Challenge Title: New Year's Resolutions

CAS or Clean and Simple Weekly Challenge:
Happy New Year to all! I'm very excited to be hosting my first challenge here on the CAS team. For my challenge I would like to see a New Year's resolution or goal translated into a card. It can be a crafty goal, a health or exercise resolution or really anything you want to work on in this fresh new year.
My card is for two of my little goals for the year. The first is to use some of what I have. This stamp set and die have not been used before. I need to be better about using what I buy. And the second part of my goal is to give my cards away to family and friends. My kiddos all get so excited to find a card in their lunch (even my 11 year old). I'm going to send more cards and little notes to school with them and mail more cards to friends, just because. This one will get packed in a lunch box on Tuesday!
Hope you will take some time and play along this week! I can't wait to see what you create!
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenges.
2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card.
3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword CAS308 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenges with any other challenge.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your project is seen.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We can't wait to see what you create!
What a fun challenge. I was resolved to use my older stamps and supplies after totally reorganizing my stamping room. Your challenge was perfect for my card.

Congrats on hosting your first challenge on the CAS team, Kathleen! I have a couple of things I'd like to do this year, one is to use the stuff in my craft room that hasn't been used before and two, to actually get back to playing along with some challenges here on Splitcoast.
My New Year's resolution is to use more of my embossing folders and dies- and make some CAS cards. I used a repurposed red polka dot paper tray for my dc card, along with some gold dp. Added a star and a mini brad. Here's You're A Star- dedicated to my DD who's working hard in college

One of my craft goals is get lots of Christmas cards made early in the year. Another goal is to use up my large stash of dp and ribbon. So here's one that uses both:
this challenge couldn't be better suited for me: My New Year's resolution is to make Christmas cards all year long. This happens to be CAS because there's only one stamp on it.

I created a quick sparkly Birthday card for this one - a goal of mine this year is to make more birthday cards and d more SCS challenges so there ya go!
One of my resolutions this year was to send out my Birthday cards in a more timely manner. (read "before they are late") So this made me think of the watch in Thinking of Father which led me to a masculine birthday card.
Here it is: Timely Birthday by pvilbaum - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
