I finally got my card uploaded! I had to re-load all of the software onto my computer after cleaning EVERYTHING off of it and restoring it to factory settings, then rebuilding from there... Whew! All of that background just to tell you where to find my Hundred Hearts card! Fun challenge!
Here is my card for the challenge. I just now got around to doing it today. Sick daughter yesterday. Thanks for looking. and thanks for a great challenge.
CAS doesn't come easily to me, and this is the very first time I've attempted a CAS challenge. I mixed it with today's Color Combination challenge in red, yellow, and brown. CAS156, CC361, Warm Fuzzies by Crafts
I am putting together some VERY simple cards as examples for a one-hour valentine-making session at an assisted living facility this weekend. I think all of them will be non-stampers, so I am keeping it simple and cutting out bases and punching and embossing elements ahead of time. They will have several cards to choose from that they can make. I only have time to upload one before work today, so here is Simple Love.
I made a simple folded heart pocket for this week's challenge It's just the right size to hold one of those little Ghiradelli squares of chocolate - yum!
Here is my second card for this week's heart challenge. This one goes together in less than 5 minutes: I'm using it as another sample for the residents at the assisted living facility where I'll be helping them make valentines on Saturday.
A quick upload before dashing off to work of card number 3 for this challenge (and for the valentine-making session at I'll be doing at the assisted living facility). This one is meant for their grandchildren or other children in their lives.
Here's my card for this week (my first CAS challenge). Sorry for the bad lighting on the photo - I'm still trying to learn how to use hubby's new camera, and I couldn't ask him for help 'cuz then he'd see his card before Valentine's!
Ok..."nwilliams" has created a monster and she doesn't even know it yet. She encouraged me to submit cards #1 & 2 for this challenge. I ended up adding #3 & 4. These cards are part of my project to stamp/make a card for every female member of our church...no matter what the age. It started out with a desire to just put together Valentine cards for the two sweet widows we have at church. Then, I was afraid others feelings would be hurt. I'm saving on postage by hand delivering them this coming Sunday. [We have a small congregation so it's not a scary as you think. I think 24 will do it for my church family.]
Only my second participation in something like this. First one was New Year's Day for understandblue's Puppy Bowl Challenge. Thanks so much for looking.
