How exciting! I am kind of new to the CAS challenges, since I only found them a little over a month ago. I've been participating since I found them-- it is so fun! As for my experience on SCS challenge posting, I have filled in on another challenge thread (Limited Supplies), but haven't actually been in charge of a regular weekly posting. I love SCS challenges, and would be honored to serve in this position if chosen!
Here are my cards:

Miss Boo, you have a hard decision ahead of you. So much talent in these SCSers. Any men out there? Maybe men don't do the challenges...
Anyway, I would like to thank the present DT for your wonderful samples. All of you are very talented and have taught me much.
Thanks, Miss Boo, for this outlet for the CAS cards. I love participating.

Wow, there's already so much great stuff on here! The CAS challenges have quickly become my favorite. If I do no other stamping during the week, I still almost always hit the CAS challenge -- I think I've only missed a couple (but I'll catch up this week!).
I've posted a couple threads here, and posted TO many, especially the challenge threads -- I must admit, I'm a sucker for a colorful link....
So here are my three favorites (today, anyway)
Fleur-de-Life
hello, owlie
and Maddie family
Thanks! Off to add (even more) favorites from all the other great stuff....

Woo Who! I've been wondering if this would be the annoucement I love that we can view what everyone considers their best, what a great source of insparation. I'd like to throw my hat in the ring for the DT. I'm a CAS stamper but do have the occasional over the top card. I'm into clean lines, striking colors, and a modern look. I've been around SCS for 5 years now and have helped as a challenge hostess in 3 VSN's. I have the thread posting thang down!
I've been playing in the CAS challenges since the first week. I've made everyone of them but don't always post since sometimes I'm less than thrilled with the results. I'd love to be on the DT because it would give me more motivation to stamp AND share. I find that challenges more than anything get me stamping, I live for SCS challenges!
Here are my three fav CAS cards...
CAS Flowers
Single Layer
Flair Valentines

I have been a SCS member since 2005. I have been stamping/cardmaking since that time also. I had started stamping from a little Stampin up party that I hosted. Once I got hooked, my friend/demonstrator directed me to SCS when I kept asking questions about what to do with what stamp or stamp set and how did they do this and that in the catalog. Since joining SCS, my whole world has opened up and I have branched out to a lot of different stamp manufacturers, embellishments and other elements that make the cards so beautiful. The SCS challenges have really helped me grow as a stamper/cardmaker. Clean and Simple cards are some of my very favorite cards and while I have not participated in the CAS challenge to date, I would love to be able be on the CAS design team. Summer is the perfect time for me to participate in the challenges as my work load is slower and the kids are done with school and some activites. Here are my three samples of CAS cards.

OH what fun Jen! I would be thrilled to be on a team with any of the oh so talented stampers here!
I have been on SCS for about a year and half now. I have posted a challenge and thread, in a company forum here. I have been playing the CAS challenges since the very first one, to use ONE button, still remember it too, lol! And last but not least, here are my cards:
Monochromatic Card
Tiger Lilies
Little flowers
(whew...ok gonna hit submit reply..I really am, here in just a sec...yep...yes I'm shy about doing this, lol)

Ooooh! I'd love to play! I've participated in several of the CAS challenges and really enjoy them. I've never posted a challenge or a thread, but I'm a quick study.
Here are three of my favorite CAS cards, from previous CAS challenges:
Rock-n-Roll Flowers
Celebrate to the Nines!
Simple Daisy
Thanks for the chance to participate in the CAS summer DT!

Oh. My. Goodness. By my count, THIRTY people have put their cards in the hat for this DT. For THREE spots. It warms my heart that so many people are supporting the CAS challenge and every one of you deserves a spot!

Me????
I think it was you! LOL! Without your thread, I would have never thought of a challenge.
It has been a FUN and exciting 3 months! I love all the participation and new faces. The talent that has been highlighted is amazing! I'm not sure how we can narrow it down to 3!

I never even would have thought of a challenge...not in a million zillion years! Heck, I hadn't even participated in one before you got this one going.
Checking in each week, seeing all the wonderful cards, and getting to "know" other individuals who value CAS in their own creative expression inspired me in wonderful ways. It's been so much fun and I can't wait to see what the next DT does!
You ladies ROCK!

Thank you Jen for this opportunity!
I have been on SplitCoast for a few+ years. I do know how to post challenges and links. I have played a few of the CAS challenges. My CAS style is more about minimal layers/embellishments - I still love to cut-out, color, and use tools. I also use a lot of white
Here are my three cards:
Cool Thanks
Doodled Greetings
Rockin' Roses

I'm going to give this a try, but I know I'm a complete long shot since I've only been on SCS for a couple weeks. I've really come to love it though and am enjoying the challenges and inspiration to get me stamping again--I've taken a long break from stamping, but recently got back into it again after attending a SU party. I've not posted any challenges here, but have been active on other boards. Threads, yes.

OMGosh Jen, this is just soo exciting. I am the queen of simple creations. Many times I think my creations are tooo simple and yet those seem to be the ones that I receive the most compliments on.
I was introduced to stamping about 4 yrs ago by co-workers who never miss a chance to rag me about my 1st statement of "I am not interested in that and do not have time to do that". My resistance rapidly turned to obsession as soon as I went to my 1st SU class. I was hooked and have been since. I live for the daily SCS challenges and thrive on seeing how many I can do together and still meet the requirements. Hince "Queen of Combo's".
I am a past DT member of H&M Stamp Company and current member of Treehouse Stamp Company. I represented both stamp companies during my 6mos term with H&M and always completed no less than 10-12 projects for each company each month well exceeding my requirements but that is just normal for me. If I am not doing 150% I am not doing my part.
I have always been a Fan Club member and recently accepted in the DSS club and enjoying have a Big and Lil Sis as I grew up with only 1 older Brother.
Here are a few of my favs from my gallery:
BUTTERFLY KISSES
TOTALLY TOOLS
ON GUARD OBERTO.
Thank you so much for this opportunity.

Well - I posted here last week - but it seems to have disappeared!?!? so I'm throwing my cards in again!
I have done the CAS challenges since the beginning - I love paring down to the basics although sometimes that is harder than putting lots of stuff on a card!!
I participate in 3-4 SCS challenges everyweek - I particularly like the sketch and the Inspiration challenges!
I am presently on the DT of H&M Stamps but that is ending in June and I was past DT member for Artful Inkables.
I've had 4 of my cards accepted for publication in the new magazine coming out in August - Christian Paper Crafts Magazine.
and I absolutely LOVE SCS!
here are a few of my CAS card examples:
CAS12 CC216 A Little Ribbon to Get Well by artystamper at Splitcoaststampers
CAS08 hello by artystamper at Splitcoaststampers
IC170 A Pillow Inspiration by artystamper at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for considering me amoungst all the wonderful talent before me here!!

Thanks for the opportunity to join. I absolutely love this style of stamping (and scrapping for that matter).
Here are my three cards:
Masculine Best Wishes
Congratulations
Silly Monkeys
I have participated in all but three CAS challenges. In the past I have participated in a few other challenges. I am comfortable posting threads and uploading to SCS although I've never hosted anything.

I am completely intimidated by all of the talent here. But I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring anyway. I tend to be a "minimalist" when it comes to CAS but I love seeing all the various interpretations.
Thinking of You

Soft Sweet Thank You
How long have you been playing in the CAS challenges? I have played the CAS Challenges since the beginning. However, I haven't been able to participate recently due to end of the school year responsibilities.
Have you ever posted a challenge or a thread? I've never posted a challenge, although I do have a bunch in my head that I wish I could. I have posted many threads about various subjects. I just love SCS. It's the first place I go to in the morning and the last place before I turn in for bed.

CAS Summer Design Team
Wow! Just discovered this after returning from trip to Vegas and CA! Sounds like a wonderful opportunity! I have never been on a design team, but hey, you gotta start somewhere, and I'd love to be considered. I just love the CAS challenge and look forward to it every week! Here are 3 examples of my CAS cards:
Shades of Blue Thanks CAS10 by vampme3 at Splitcoaststampers
Wind Beneath My Wings by vampme3 at Splitcoaststampers
Red Dress by vampme3 at Splitcoaststampers
I have started 2 threads for "Hope for Deb" card requests. I have been an SCS member since 2/23/08 and been making cards since 2007. Started with scrapbooking and tried cards once and got hooked big-time! I participate in most of the challenges and keep a blog which is listed below in my signature space.
I also love to check the other stamper's cards and comment on them. What talent there is here!! It's absolutely amazing!!!
Thanks for your consideration, and good luck with your selection! And good luck to all you other wonderful stampers out there!!!
Hugs,
Val

CAS Summer Design Team
Thank you, Jen, for this exciting opportunity to be part of the CAS DT. I’ve never been on a design team and would certainly love the chance.
I have been a member of SCS since October, 2006 and needless to say my life has not been the same since. Everything I know about card making I learned from this site. The talent here amazes me.
I have participated in the CAS challenges and have had the pleasure of hosting the Try a New Technique challenge in January of last year.
Here are my three cards:
Smile
Thinking of you
Daisy
Thank you!

Wowza - with all the incredibly talented ladies that have already posted, I'm feeling pretty darn intimidated! But nothing ventured, nothing gained.
How long have you been playing in the CAS challenges?
I've been playing in the CAS challenges since I found them in week 4. I don't always post my creations since sometimes they get put into use before I can take the picture! (Can I tell you how many birthday parties my kids have been to in the past month....sheesh!!)
Have you ever posted a challenge or a thread?
I've posted more threads than I can think about and a few challenges. For a few months, the stalkers were posting some challenges and I hosted the sketch challenge.
And here are my cards:
Elegant Wedding
Masculine Birthday
Snowflakes
Good luck to all the applicants - the new DT is going to be fabulous!!

I'm going for it! This is one of my favorite challenges and one of my favorite type cards to make! As I was browsing my gallery to pick 3 submissions - a big majority of my maybe's had butterflies - I thought that was pretty interesting!
I found the CAS challenges shortly after they started. I haven't played in all of them but always check them out! And I've never posted a challenge here at SCS, but I do know how to start a new thread!
Delight in the Lord
Butterfly Quote
Polka Dotted Butterfly
I've so enjoyed the team you started with!!! And I look forward to the next season with a whole new round of wonderful challenges and inspiration!
Good luck to everyone!!!
