Default Christmas Card: How to Incorporate a Photo?

Does anyone have a good idea (or a photo of a completed card) for incorporating a photo of the family into a card? I'd love to see some samples and hear your suggestions!

Thank you!

Hi,
I am new here and pretty new to stamping, so I am no expert.

You could incorporate a photo by using a window.
Cut an opening in the front of the card and have the picture attached
inside the card.
You could also use a corner or slit punch to hold the picture in place.
Just tuck the corners or the top and bottom of the photo into the
punched area. Then the recpieint can either leave it the card in or take
out an frame it later.
Another idea to make a pocket and slip the photo into the pocket.

I don't have one made to show you but I hope this helps.

If you'll send me your e-mail address I'll e-mail you a picture of a card I took a couple of weeks ago at a Stampin' Up class I went to. I love the card. The photo was behind an oval cut out and she used the Poinsetta Wheel on it along with a red ribbon. She said Stampin' Up used to have the paper with the oval already cut out but it has been retired. You could use a Couzzle or a Fiskars template to cut the oval or a square frame.

I also made one several years ago and used a DeNami frame stamp. I think the stamp is retired now and I don't have a photo of it.

Outlines makes several stamps that you can use for photo frames and they have one with holly on it. Check their website.

My e-mail is [email protected]

I don't know if you're still looking for ideas but I made several pocket cards with our pic on the pull-out part. The pic I used with wallet sized.

This first one was a pocket on the front and also opened up to hold a gift card inside it.

If you have any questions, I'd be glad to help!
