Am I too late to join? I have never done any challenges because my cards are so simple and not as pretty as so many I see but I want to get my cards done early this year so I am not doing them last minute and not getting them done as I would like. Also need to make some for my son to send home from Mexico to family and friends. Do I just start uploading to April--doubt I will get them done for March--but you never know? If it is too late, I will just use you all as inspiration.

I got the idea from SC and have a group from my club that is doing a10 a month club - we started in Feb. and are going through November. A few of us needed more than 100, so they're making more each month. I got so frustrated this month I only made 8, but will make it up next month with a really cute card. I thought we had to start in January here so haven't uploaded, but am going to now. I am going to up load to my gallery and try to figure out how to add to the February and March link here.

Welcome to SCS and welcome to the Christmas card challenge. I know EmGee458 has welcomed other late comers - it's never too late to get a jump on Christmas cards. I don't plan on doing mine in December this year - I plan to be finished early.

Hi, just found this challenge and I should really join as I'm always running out of Xmas cards at the end of the year and find that I don't have time to do them. Hope it's ok to start from April onwards.

I've been working on my April cards, and I realised that I now don't need as many cards as I originally thought. Is it OK to change to making 5 cards a month instead? I'll be posting my April cards sometime this week. Thanks.

Hey Everyone!
Sorry I've been MIA. just wanted to let you know I've uploaded my card (shows 1 but there are 12 in the set) for Feb. Yep - February challenge.
Since my daughter called and said she was for sure moving back home with the baby, my life has not been the same. I'm just now getting back into my stamp room. Hoping to get caught up thanks to all the creative ideas in the gallery.
You can check out the card here...
CCC09 - Feb. by ScrappinCEO at Splitcoaststampers
I'll try to check in more often and look back at everyone's handiwork while I've been gone.

I think I might need to resign as being hostess for this challenge. I've had a slight medical issue, but things are on the mend now- but I'm SO far behind on everything!! If there is anyone willing to take over being hostess for the remaining 6 months, please let me know. I will pack up all the incentive prizes and mail them to you for distribution each month. If no one is willing to take over, I will stay on, however, I might be a little behind in updating and getting out incentive prizes...

Iwas on such a roll during my Christmas break and have done thru August. I need to get busy and get the rest completed. Even tho I have not completed this I have made 7 sets of 12-14 cards using the One Sheet Wonder techiique for Christmas gifts and such. Does this count at all?

I've been MIA too...with a death in the family in April and me being in charge of the estate things have been crazy to say the least!! I didn't know that I could "catch up" so I guess I'd better get going and do April - June's!!
Sorry you're not well Mary...hope all works out....the more I'm on SCS the more I realize that every one has their turn with life's challenges...I think this is a wonderful, understanding and unique group of individuals that we have here and I am sooo proud to be a part of it!!...Now back to card making!!
Have a great evening !!

I too have been MIA but I'm back! At least I did up through June, maybe even July, before I went MIA. Wow...ending this school year was such a challenge. It is done and I am ready to rejoin the crafting world. I'm cleaning today but starting my stamping up again tomorrow. Be on the lookout for my cards soon!!!
Mary, I'm sorry your not feeling well. Has anybody offered to help you yet? I've never done anything like this before but as long as everyone promises not to stone me if I make a mistake, I could try! LMK...Pam

I feel good about this challenge. I am up to date and have 50 cards made! I forgot to post this each month. Oh well. I think I will make another 10 and I will be done for this year. I am going to start on making Christmas tags once my cards are finished. Then I will get started making books with my BIA. I am making one in purples, another in greens and I think I will make a couple in Christmas papers. That will be my last one because I will wait to see the Christmas paper from Basic Grey. I buy two complete sets, one to use and one to???? put up in my stash. I will use it sometime. This card challenge has been fun.

Hi there! Welcome to splitcoaststampers! You're gonna love it!
I checked rdm's gallery and did not see the card you mentioned. But here are some tips.
At the top of this page, there is a site menu...click on "gallery"
Then, when that page opens, go to the left column...there is a small box where you can type in something for a gallery search. You can either type in a specific name, such as rdm (or berlycece )and look at that gallery...or you type in a subject,, such as Christmas, graduation,, wedding etc.
Hope that helps!
Sorry for not doing this in a private message...but there might be other newbies looking at the thread. Might help them too.
Happy stamping!

Has a thread for the 2010 Christmas card challenge been posted already? I still have to make November's cards, but I have had a BLAST and it is SUCH a stress reliever knowing I have 100 cards for the holidays already.

thank you to all who looked for me for the cat in the santa hat thread.. I saw the card once and when I got home from work it was gone... I wanted the stamp so badly and still do... my computer with the saved image crashed and I had not learned to put things in a favorites file on sc ...so please keep looking for me.. it was a beautiful card of red and black and white only . upper body of cat wearing a santa hat and holding the ball tassel on the end of the hat.. at first glance, it looks like it is a snow ball.. that was a gorgeous card and I would like to contact the maker... redi2stamps thanks to everyone

I made all my cards this year but totally fell down on the job of posting monthly. Oh, well, at least I am ready to address Christmas cards next week. Thanks, this was a great incentive for me. Sorry I didn't manage to share each month. Maybe I'll try again next year.
