After seeing it in action I really think that this is something that I would do and the plus is that the kids can play games on it when they come over.

I am just frustrated, why does a surgeon order things , without finding out if it is covered as he wants it !... there are people that get paid to do that work...

sorry, I am trying to not get upset about this,,,but enough is ENOUGH !

Jack called his brother at work...that's when we found out she had changed the plan. So, we'll see them for dinner. Hopefully that doesn't change. We are trying to be flexible! I just wanted to deliver their gifts!

Since our plans changed for the day.....we called Deb about lunch. She had an hour off. I called just in time! We met them at a local hamburger place in town. She brought a couple of people that she works with. One was really watching her watch about getting back. I think they were about 5 min late.

We then headed to Walmart to pick up some supplies for Jack to make chocolate chip cookies. He is in the process of making cookies.....that will be yummy!
thanks for letting us know that you made it there...hope you can catch up with Jack's side of the family...

ok I am caught up...I need to just sit until time to go to the bank...Thank goodness I have left over roast and potatoes for supper... I think most things will be waiting until tomorrow...

I can remember doing marathon shopping with my mom, for 12 hours...those days are long gone...lol

I am disapointed that I could not get Wally what I wanted too... He did not share any of the bonus from the bank or the cash from selling the van... I really thought he would... oh well... I will be sure to explain that to him as he opens his few gifts !...

It hurts me because I LOVE to give... ..I had saved towards his gift but just cannot reach the final goal...

My blue ribbon fair chocolate chips have more brown sugar than white plus I add a 3.5 oz pkg of instant vanilla pudding when I add the flour (French Vanilla with the Milk Chocolate is really yummy). It keeps them moist longer.

I'm sorry Wally was such a stinker. I just wouldn't say anything. It isn't worth the aggravation... especially on Christmas, ya know? Besides.. who knows what he has up his sleeve.

This just hasn't been a good day for you all around, and I"m sorry.

Okay.. it's 3 days before Christmas and I'm finally feeling some holiday spirit - what's up with that?

Bob is coming in from camp about 6. I'm grilling steaks in the dark just because who knows when it will be nice enough before spring to do this again. hehe. Might have a moon to grill by if I'm lucky.

After he goes back to deer camp, I'm going to finish my Christmas cards so they can go in the mail tomorrow and make the caramel cream filling for a batch of cookies I made yesterday. Tomorrow morning all I'll have to do is box up the cookies and start the delivery process before the weather turns nasty.

Time to bundle up so I can go start the grill then I decided I want to put some of that small wood in the wheel barrow in the garage so I can do that while the grill is heating. I'll check back in after he's gone.

It is ok, today was not bad, just a lot to do in one day !... I am frustrated that I let him take away my joy ! I have just not been able to really get into it this year...

and I will try not to say some thing, but Kel, if I do not confront him it will not get better, that is from past experience...

I work with him every night at the bank... so that bothers me...I never ask for any of that money... He just is not the Wally he used to be... But he has not not been for several years...I just miss his happiness and wanting to do for others instead of complaining...

vent over sorry

I hope you enjoy your dinner...
I thought about fixing us steaks for Christmas Eve since Wally and I will be home... Not sure though...

I am done with supper, and ready for my jammies, and my book
Wally is going out to work on the garage door... the hardware store let him bring the whole roll of cable home since he did not know how much he needed... So he wants to get that cut so he can take it back...I told him to wait until Friday in the daylight to work on it...but as he pointed out, he will not see any day light...lol

I'm MUCH better!!! Thanks! I slept lying down ALL night last night.

Okay... I posted but I think I accidently closed the window before it went through LOL

Supper is out of the way, Bob has gone back to deer camp and the dishes are done. I'm buzzing through here a little bit then I'm going to fire up the wood burner and curl up with Dr. Quinn. I have several on the dvr.

That's good news, Shell! Maybe you'll all be healthy again by Saturday. Obviously Jonah's arm isn't bothering him much if he could be wrestling with Jared LOL

All of us healthy would be very nice. We'll see.

His arm bothers him if it gets hit or something. It still looks nasty, but it is getting better.

Yeah, been there, done that .... but I never stopped chatting. Hahahaha!! I'm too attached to everyone here to let stuff get in my way from chatting every day if possible.

The house is really quiet. I probably should have replaced that bottom string of lights on the tree this afternoon. That corner looks darker than if there were nothing over there.

While out and about yesterday I went on the hunt for new Christmas lights. I am so sick of finding either C9s in nothing but 25 to a string or the little mini lights. We have C7s we got at target and I love them. Unfortunately, I think they're beginning to show their age. Have you noticed that like everything else manufactured these days, Christmas lights don't have the life they used to either?

Obviously, I'm home ... finally. We went to mail the 28 boxes (yeah .... post office people just loved me today ..... NOT). Then, we picked up my mom and went to lunch. We ran by Toys R Us to grab something for Caitlyn. Then, Mom wanted a new griddle so we headed over to Target. I got gas and took Mom to the store. We spent some quiet time at her house until supper. Mark met us there and took the boys to church. I came on home. Since I've been home, I've washed 2 loads of clothes, put up one load, wrapped Caitlyn's gift, talked to a friend in NJ, made Becky mad, talked to Mom, and got Jaydin to get on her sleepy clothes.

I'm tired.

One day, we need to get some more lights. I kind of think we needed more on the big tree this year, but .....

Ok ... all the guys are home, so I think I'm done for the night.

Have an awesome night. It was good chatting with you, Kelly.

True.
But you knew yours would be there every day until they were old enough to leave home. LOL I didn't know how long I'd have Adrian. I put a lot of things on hold to soak up all the toddler love I could get.

In about 15 min I can take Lady out for her final trip of the night. Then I can get comfy and watch tv. The fire is blazing and won't take it long to really warm up in here. I'm heading over to Gallery comments then I'm off for the night. Sweet Dreams!
