Default Keep Calm and Carry On

And don't get your feet wet. Or if they're already wet, just dry 'em off!

My sister weighs 34 pounds less than I do yet wears 2 sizes bigger.

I get that I am extra muscular and will not be able to weigh 130 which is my dream weight but still...it irritates me a little bit.

I eat semi healthy...and still weigh lots more. I guess it's good to have more muscle, right?

Okay, I will stop talking your ears off...I just haven't gotten on here in so long and all the narcotics are making me feel a little loose.

I have to have bloodwork in the morning...don't know what for...the doctor just said I needed it. I have to fast after midnight...I'm assuming blood sugar and cholesterol...don't know what else.

What if I have diabetes???? O_o That would be horrible!!! I don't think I have symptoms...what if my cholesterol is 400?? I don't want bloodwork!

Am I supposed to find threads that don't have "pond" somewhere in the title? Sheesh. I'm feeling overestimated. And proud. This is the second consecutive thread I've posted in. I'm turning over a new water lily, apparently.

He's probably checking all those things and think of it this way, knowledge is power. Once you know the numbers, you can take action!

Did you know, though, that "Keep Calm & Carry On" was never actually used during the war? The slogan was created to be used in case of invasion but Britain was never invaded (unlike the Channel Islands).

The slogan was revived a year or two ago by enterprising folk (don't know who) who saw it as an ironic way of getting people through the recession. No doubt it has seen the enterprising folk who make mugs, tea towels and signs through the recession quite nicely!

Well, some perpetually pregnant Pondie who shall remain nameless woke me up with a text message at 7:06 this morning, interrupting a very interesting dream.

I tried sleeping some more after that but realized around 7:30 it was a lost cause.

J came into our room at 5:30 and fell back asleep at which point I put him in his bed and considered it a perfect opportunity to be awake for awhile without anyone. I got an hour and 35 minutes!

It was Wrose, wasn't it?

Sorry. I forget that others don't put their phone on silent at night.

I'm not sure if this is gross or really cute but I'm pitting cherries by mouth and then feeding them to J (with my fingers for that part)

DS2 did great at the dentist. We go to a pediatric dentist and he's like one of the kids, I swear!

DS2 has been doing so well the past few weeks. I know it could end at any moment, but he has just been making such great strides. Its so much fun to be able to do some things with him that require flexibility.

Your mouth-your kid...doesn't seem gross to me! Oh...except the cherry part. That sounds downright disgusting.

Ever feel like you're in a really one sided friendship? I feel like that with one of my friends. The problem is, I really care about her kids. So, I continue to be their source of transportation to and from practice and stuff like that bc I just don't want them to have to miss.

I let DD stay home this morning and babysit Bbaby while I took DS2 to the dentist. Went great. Of course, she wasn't allowed to answer the phone or door. No cooking, no feeding Bbaby. Just play and watch tv. I knew I'd be home before lunch and didn't leave until after breakfast was over.
