you may want to look into paying quarterly? then its not such a shock at once?

this site has gone wonky for me, I've turned it on and off a few times now but, it takes a very long time to refresh or load pages.

she is self employed so, I assume they send her money for book sales and she has to pay all the taxes her self...

Do you use Firefox? I'm having issues with my yahoo mail and they claim it's a Firefox issue. But then Firefox turns around and says it's not them, it's whomever is having the issues, in my case, it's a "yahoo problem." So who knows...

I haven't even looked at my taxes yet. Figured it wasn't a good idea while I've been so stressed this last month or so. Can't put it off too much longer though.

Yep. 6K of that is self-employment tax I think. THUD.

I have been saving all year, so we've got the money. I'm very glad it's less than I thought.

Good to see Lee and Kathy!

Ah yes... my Dad gets the joy of being 'self employed' as well.

I would suspect is it indeed yahoo.
I have firefox as well. I'm not having any issues at the moment, though I did have some a couple weeks ago. However, quite a lot of people on the stitchy board have been complaining of issues with yahoo lately. And I'm sure not all of them use firefox.

Im using Chrome in this 'puter... so I assumed it was this site... it just let me in again.
3 more cards done... but, I have all the suitcases open that I took in Nov... they are not full... so... back to the table, and Im running out of I want to make things with what I have already colored pile...

that is the hold up... Id rather color than make the cards... I only make the cards to be "useful" with what I color

and one other thought about why the suitcases are not full... is because, I keep making these 3-D things that are really "iffy" as to if they will sell or not..

kwim? cards I know will sell... eventually, some of them my sense of humor goes over better out of town at Ren Faires then here...

I need to go buy a tax program so I can do my taxes when the paperwork comes.
I haven't done mine myself in years. When I was in university, mine were done by the guy who did my parents, since parts of mine affected theirs.
When I first started working, there was a tax preparation company at the mall. Tax deadline that year fell around the same time as report cards, so I decided to bite the bullet & pay to have them done for my own sanity. $30 and less than 30 minutes of my time and they were done - I walked to the bank, paid the $35 I owed and was done. So every year after that I went to the same place. The price went up a little every year, but was still within reason. When I moved here, I just went to another branch of the same company -but I found the prices here were a lot higher. Last year I paid $90 for them to be done, and decided that was the last time I was doing that. Ridiculous amount of money for how uncomplicated my taxes are, so I decided that I will do them myself this year. Need to buy a program though - 1) to make it easier and 2)so I can efile.

Not sure what I want to do tomorrow. I was trying to frontload my week, since Wed-Sat. skating starts at noon and goes until nearly 10pm. I was supposed to have lunch with my Mom and Gma tomorrow, and then Tuesday was supposed to be a day for stamping with my Mom and another lady. Which worked out great, as the other stuff I needed to do could be done in the mornings and I would be able to watch all the skating right? Non.
Now the stamping day is Thursday, and in addition to the stamping we are now babysitting Handsome, Munchkin and Poppet (whom I love, but..............). I will take my computer and hopefully catch the ones I REALLY want to see, but seeing them 2" high is not the same as watching them on tv.
And now lunch with Gma & Mom is Friday. And of course, starting at noon on Friday is the portion of the skating that I MOST want to see. And I was looking forward to spending my birthday watching my favourite part of skating, eating treats, and stitching away. But, Gma's been ill, is finally on the mend, and having a bit of a rough week because the docs have said no more driving and she had to give up her car yesterday. So how do you say no, I won't have lunch with you because I want to watch skating on tv KWIM? You can't.
Now I have an appointment for a tooth filling Tuesday mid-day (which I don't mind - going to the dentist doesn't bother me), which is fine but mid-day appts sure cut into your day. I do still have one appt. that I have to set up, hopefully Tues. or Wed. morning. I wanted to treat myself to a facial this week, and am debating if I want to set it up for tomorrow sometime, or book it for whichever of Tues. or Wed. I can't get the other appt. for and leave tomorrow free to stay home.
Who knew my week off would get so crazy?
And if you read through all that, my apologies for complaining about my week off, but I had to vent somewhere.

Welcome here... if you hit reply, or go advanced you will get a box to type in with hypertext live link shortcuts in it... so open up the etsy site and then copy the URL ( internet address ) of the thing you found and then in the reply box type some words like modern fold card. highlight the words modern fold card and then click the button above the box that looks like a globe with the two chain's connected on it... this will open a pop up box highlight the Http and then hit paste ( of your cards internet addy) and then hit what ever it says that saves it I forgot and then hit reply...

if we can see it we may know what you are looking for, but. you may also get a faster response in general stamping.
click forums... scroll down... one of them says g.s. ( more people are reading those posts)

hmmm, looks like a diagonal pocket with a lot of lace on it?
could be each sheet will need an 12" square so pick one fourth of it to stay flat and square, then score it to fold in the bottoms towards the center and then your going to need something to cut the half circles off the folded parts... maybe a grand circle die?
its hard to say for sure without being able to move the lace.

if you want to rack up your post count leave some comments in the gallery some days... they will breed in the dark that way.
