A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM JODI ~ IN JODI'S OWN WORDS:

Thank you very much for your e-mail and interest with The Dragonfly Foundation. We would love to be the recipients of your hard work and creativity of handmade cards.

We put together admission care packages for newly admitted patients at the hospital and a pack of 10 thank you cards is something we put in the bags. We give 20 bags to the hospital about every 2 months, depending on how many children are admitted. Packets of ten thank you cards are sent to members, and we will be needing twenty packets. It's completely fine if we don't get 20 packs of the 10 thank you cards because each bag can be a little different as far as brand, type, etc. All the cards don't have to be made with dragonflies, whatever the card makers want to create will be perfect!!! Envelopes for the cards would be great too!

Birthday cards are another option. We do send birthday cards to all of our patients during their birthday month. We have over 200 patients, but you could donate however many you would like for birthday cards. If you're creating generic thank you card packs, they don’t need to have a theme. If you're creating birthday cards, the theme could be dragonflies and our signature colors are blue and yellow.

This will be my first Card for a Cause, as I am new to the site! I am looking forward to making these cards!!

I've got thirty cards ready to go! Haven't decided on whether to mail or drop off - the address isn't that far from where I'm working right now. Made about fifteen thank-you cards and another five for birthdays. Included another ten of misc which I hope they can use.

Haven't been able to contribute in a while. But getting back to these causes now. Will be sending in some cards this week.

Decided to make all Thank you cards and will be mailing out two sets of 10 tomorrow. So happy to contribute to a wonderful cause.

I made all ten, thank you cards from cards that we had received. I did stamp with a light ink with dragonflies all over the inside insert. They will go in the mail tomorrow.

Just saw about this project on Home page and am very interested in participating. Do I just sent the type of cards directly to the address u list east month? I understand about wanting certain types of cards but do you have a number of cards to sent each month.
