Could you please elaborate a little bit more on this request for sympathy cards from a pregnancy resource center. It would help to know why they want this type of card, who in general do they want us to have on our hearts and mind as we make these cards.

I agree that it would be very helpful to understand who the recipients are. It would help me choose which sentiments and styles of cards to make. Thanks.

Hi Everyone!!
Thanks as always for being so generous this month!! I know with Christmas being right around the corner it makes things a little bit more hectic but as usual - you step up to the plate and give so much. I'm always amazed!!
2020 has been quite a year hasn't it? I'm hoping and praying that 2021 is an EXCELLENT year for everyone!!! And as far as 2021 for this group - I'm so excited to share with you the groups we will be featuring this coming year!! The week between Christmas and New Years I will post a "2021 Sneak Peek" post that will give you the names of the groups for 2021 so you can see what will be coming up through the year. I only have a couple more months to fill so I hope to have that done in the next week. The first 4 months will be 4 brand new organizations for us and I hope you are touched by their causes as I have been. Later in the year we will be revisiting some of our previous causes who have requested to be featured again...you have truly made an impact!
I'm also going to update our "ongoing causes" list in the next week or two. Some of those might be removed if I can't get updated contact info...and some will be added.
I'm also going to have a thread open all the time were you can suggest groups that you may come across or a cause that is close to your heart that we can find a related group to support.
So hopefully I'll get things cleaned up a bit again....and if you have ANY suggestions at all, please drop me a note either PM or respond to this post or email me directly at [email protected]. I'm certainly no expert here and this is YOUR group.
Thank you all again for all your support for our little part of the Splitcoast Stampers world. You all are such talented and generous and loving people....I'm blessed to be part of this community.

Thanks so much for all your hard work to make these missions possible. I wouldn't even know where to start if it wasn't for you and this group. Hope you can relax and enjoy yourself during the Holidays.

Thanks so muck Zella for all you do keeping this wonderful group of card makers busy for all these great causes. I know I look forward to each month's new cause as it has a way of getting my "mojo" working. Becca your cards a wonderful. Sometimes these causes have a way of getting me to think outside the box. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Thank you Lorraine, that is very kind of you! And I agree, the different themes and monthly challenges do push me to be more creative than I would be otherwise! Becca

Job searching Over!!! I On-Boarded with my job position Last Monday - my very own personal Christmas Miracle!! So I spent this past weekend making cards for Charity - my way of returning the favor to the universe. The cards for December were a challenge - it was hard not to bling them up!!! It just didn't feel right to not bling them - yet the bling didn't feel right either. Box of 24 cards getting dropped at post office today - Tracking 9405509205568935207055.

Hi everyone! Only a few more days of 2020 left....soon we will be rolling into 2021!
I put up the post for 2021 at a glance...if you can't see it please let me know. I can view it on my laptop but for some reason my phone doesn't like it. Might just be one of the bugs in the system we have experienced lately. Seems like many systems are having bugs - my Instagram kept closing on me one day. Maybe everyone and everything is ready for 2020 to come to an end. LOL!!
Gina - I'm SOOOOO excited about your new job!!! 2021 is going to be an excellent year and this is just the beginning!!
I will post our January cause in the next day or two so y'all can get started on it. I'm not so rushed being on vacation this week...LOL!! It's been nice - I was able to get through a tub of pictures today. Let me tell ya - I think maybe 1 of every 5 pictures I take is NOT blurry! LOL!! Plus I had soooo many duplicates. I threw away a lot of duplicates. But it was really something going through them. I found pictures of pets that we no longer have. I found pictures that I can give back to those who gave them to me. I found a set of pictures from a wedding I was in over 20 years ago...I was the matron of honor...the bride was my best friend at the time. This past year her father passed away and we were able to reconnect. One of the pictures I had taken was her with her dad before the wedding...and my mom had been able to take a picture of her dad walking her down the aisle. I know just those two pictures alone will mean the world to her. I can't wait to give them to her. I found so many pictures of my own family members who have passed away - uncles, aunts, grandparents, and my dad. I also came across a scrapbook of sorts that I made the year my dad passed away - and inside it were 2 letters that dad had written to me. I have to tell you that it made me cry and miss him so much...but it was good to find that and remember again.
I hope you are all having a great Christmas season and that 2021 will be an absolutely amazing year for each and every one of you!!! Blessings my friends!!!

THANK YOU MA'AM!!! Honestly - so am I!!! Full Time job searching was tiring, and was taking it's toll on my both mentally and physically. I'm having to learn how to get a work-life balance as a "work from home" resource (the commute is too short!)!!! I'm hopeful that 2021 will be a much better year than 2020 was - for all of us!!!

Package mailed today. USPS Tracking 9534 6143 1067 1004 3757 91 Estimated Delivery Date of January 11
This was the most difficult batch of cards I have made to date. Life in 2020, and sympathy cards, didn't mesh with the Ho Ho Ho, Holly Jolly, Merry and Bright, Joyful, Rejoice, and Good Will which is the theme of December holidays. I did not want to think of negatives. I wanted to embrace happiness. Finally figured out how to separate, and dedicate time to both. The cards that almost weren't, became a reality, and my desire is that they spark hope in their recipients. Happy New Year, and God bless everyone. I am now off to tackle January with a lighter and more optimistic heart.

I can so sympathize. Last year's holidays were, in anyone's world, a mixed blessing! Miracles happened right next to tragedies, and few, if any, were spared. You're perseverance shows true strength of character - and i'm quite sure the recipients of your creations will be truly thankful. Quote: Originally Posted by AScrapofKindness Package mailed today.
