Compassionate Cards Feb '10 Mission

Hi Everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read this post! I am very
excited to get started with this month's Cards for a Cause mission. This month will be the Safe Horizon domestic violence shelter located in New York, NY. For more information, please visit their website at:

I think it would really help boost their moral to know that a complete stranger thought about them and made them a card just for encouragement and hope. I hope that you will join me in this important cause.

There are no restrictions for your card donations. Anything that you can do
to help and encourage would be much appreciated. Some ideas for the cards would be: Hello, Hi, Thinking of you, Thank you, Wishing you all the best, Greetings, Warm Wishes, Let Your Light Shine, Smile, and Happy Birthday. Children�s cards would also be appreciated. Please leave them blank inside. I have a pre-printed message that I place inside each card. Please try and send an envelope along with your card, if possible.

I'll be sure and update how many cards we have donated. Feel free to
post a link to the cards that you have made so we can all see your work! :0)

Please have your cards to me no later than February 28th.

Hi Anita-

I recieved your cards on Saturday. Thank you so much for your beautiful card donations. I love all your cards. The purple card with the top note and the saying "All things grow with love" is so pretty. I love the card that you made with the saying, "Praying God's love lights up your birthday in a very special way!" That is sure to bring a smile and peace to someone that is suffering. Julie, I have a priority mail box full of 202 cards and envelopes. These are more sample card fronts made over into full size cards. I''m happy to be able to get another box out to you. I'll get them to the USPS tomorrow. Hopefully you'll get them in time.

I received your cards. They are so beautiful. I just put together a video off all the card donations. You should see it within the next 10 minutes. How exciting! We had a total of 299 cards donated this month to Safe Horizon. You ladies just keep amazing me with your creativing and talents.
