This was a fun sketch. Andrea, thanks for coming up with such great ideas.

Here's mine!!!

craftycacky 11-09-2005 06:19 PM

I finally got a metallic reinker so I could try the polished stone technique, so I thought I would try it for this challenge - I think I have a new fav techinque! (although I don't think it scanned well) Thanks Andrea for the sketch!

(pending as of 9:00pm EST)

Here is mine..

CardFanatic 11-09-2005 06:29 PM

This is a great sketch! Just what I needed for some thank you cards for my paraeducators. I'm still having fun with my new Paisley!

Ellibelle 11-09-2005 06:34 PM

Great and easy sketch. here is mine http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...175142&cat=618

Judy K 11-09-2005 07:03 PM

I combined CC35 & SC46 for this card. I also tried the faux linen tech. for the trees background, but I need to practice with this some more.

This may not be approved yet.

Here is my first try at it....kind of a reverse idea going on....

TFL...may still be pending....

trudee 11-10-2005 06:12 AM

Here's mine! I made a bit of a change to it, but it's close enough I hope :)

kthaman 11-10-2005 06:21 AM

Here is mine:

It isn't exactly like the sketch, but I was using scraps, and the green behind the ornaments is really just a smidge at the top and a smidge at the bottom, so I couldn't have the ornaments on separate pieces with space b/n. I like how it turned out anyway -- I've been wanting to do that color combo on a Christmas card.

stampin-sunnychick 11-10-2005 07:11 AM

I realize that this is somewhat like cheating...But it is quite similar and the challenge had not even been posted yet...So, I just had to share.

However,I will do another card later today and post it...
Take a LOOK

Here is my bashful snowflake SC card!

I twisted 2 strands of gg together and tied knots in the end. Double staple in each end to hold it in place!

Fun sketch Andrea!

my4blessings 11-10-2005 12:54 PM

I am really enjoying these challenges this week! Here's mine:

StamperSharon 11-10-2005 01:07 PM

Here's my contribution for the sketch. I had to turn mine horizontal, though, to get it all to fit! Natural Friend SC46

Thanks for looking!

newinker 11-10-2005 01:48 PM

I got so excited that I completed 3 challenges this week, I forgot to include my link here. This was a fun challenge. I had a hard time finding a set that was small enough to fit 3 wide vertically.

*sigh* I just realized I ALWAYS forget to put SC46 or whatever into the keyword section. Oh well...I forget where I saw this, but I combined this challenge with the dry embossing technique recently added to the resources section. I flipped the paper and template over after embossing and sponged on color to make it pop out more...fun and easy!

Dry embossed and colored flowers

rebecca wheeler 11-12-2005 04:59 AM

Here is mine...a very loose interpretation...used dtp with versamark to edge the background, then gold embossed...looks nice in "real life".

Jeanne S 11-12-2005 03:45 PM

Finally got a chance to do this weeks challenge! Here it is:

lizb 11-12-2005 06:30 PM

When I have the time, I always like to try to challenge myself to make a card that combines the week's color, technique and sketch challenges. Here's this week's. It combines TLC37, CC35, SC46. I'm not sure whether I like the result or not!!

Thanks for looking.

JJStamper 11-15-2005 11:45 PM

Here is my version. Tue. night it is still pending. Hopefully it will be fine tomorrow morning
