I used some of the details that my mom used in her SC74 card. Now to follow her advice about using a camera instead of a scanner so that the cards look "truer to life."

I'm looking at all the cool cards done here (still working my way through them) and just love this sketch challenge. Hope I get a chance to do one tonight. This friggin' day job just gets in my way! (Oh yeah, but it helps support my stampin' habit.) :-)

I am experimenting with brights, since I've only just got them. The scan came out way to bright but it looks cute IRL. Thanks for looking!

And Everything Peach and Blue . I love these little girls and this stamp is a perfect size for the front of this trifold card. I love the layout Roxie. Great challenge.

I love this type of 'sketch' that's half a sketch and half a technique. After the pocket card sketch, pocket cards became my favorite type of card. Perhaps now it will be tri-folds! Here is one I made for my sister's 25th wedding anniversary. It is more sparkly IRL:

It is exactly the opposite with my camera. My digital camera tends to wash my pic out because of the flash. I try to use my camera only during the day on my cards and scrapbook pages and I have to take the pic in the direct sunlight to get a really good pic and it seems for me it is always evening when I need to upload.

I'm not sure that this card is what I had in mind when I sat down tonight, and I'm trying to convince myself that I'm satisfied with it. It looks much better IRL than the scanned image. But you know what? It's not so bad for a newbie!
