Sketch Challenge 389 {6/13/12}
 

Keywords: SC389 No spaces between letters and numbers, put a comma followed by a space between keywords. The keywords are all you need to have your card show up in the challenge gallery, having it in the keyword line covers more searches. Posting to this thread is not mandatory to play!

Hi there, friends! I am happy to be hosting again this week! It seems my style has really been leaning more toward clean and simple cards lately (it's all I have time for now-a-days) so my sketch this week follows suit :). It's quite versatile....I think you'll enjoy it! We've got a lot of great samples to help inspire you this week :)...

Great sketch challenge, thanks! I used to love using my spirograph drawing set, and I found this set the other day- so it became my center panel. I added a daisy border, and the corner flower element from Rubber Stampede's Azalea Blossom. Here's Flower Chain

Korin- nice sketch! I used a Michael's halloween foam kit for my card- added a flower (moved to upper left) and an eyelet lower border. Here's The Cat's Meow

Here's my card! This was such a fun sketch!

I loosely followed the sketch. Instead of a flourish, I used twine and I felt like the mast of the sail boat flowed along the lines of the flourish, and the boat itself matched where the flower would be.
