I really don't think people are aware...I am new and I had no idea...in the agreement I only saw information on language, racisim, hateful things, ect..
The policy should be more upfront for newcomers especially!

Interesting to know. I think not too many are either aware of the policy or are blithely ignoring it...coz I see it around heaps.

I didn't know it and this thread interested me because I just started blogging again. I usually don't pay much attention because I usually don't enter into the contests for blog candy because I personally don't have time to follow a bunch of blogs. I don't think its fair to just enter just for the blog candy and not be a "regular" to that blog.

Well, I've never blogged and have never had time to follow blogs. I am planning to start blogging this week, but there's no risk of my advertising blog candy. I'm a poor crafter and can't afford to give my stuff away LOL Nice to know though!

I was wondering about the blog candy thing too, there are heaps out there. Isn't it all rather costly just to attract new followers? or is it subsidised in any way?

OK, I'm very new with the whole concept of blogging.
1. What the hey is "blog candy?"
2. Have I done it when I've posted questions about blogging on this forum?
3. Is it OK to list my blog address in my signature?
Thanks for the clarification!

Oh, thank goodness! I'm new to blogging and barely have my Stampin' Up! business going as a business (instead of a hobby). I can't afford to give things away yet. I have seen some blogs where gals give away lots of great stuff and some of the packages are really pricey.
If I EVER get to the point where I can give away some "blog candy," I'll check in with SCS first. Thanks for clarifying for me.

Oh! That makes it much clearer. Thanks. I've seen some folks that have their blog listed in their signature section that says something about giveaways. Is that the "no-no?"

I am confused.
I am sure I have read that we are not supposed to use the gallery for blog driving (driving people to blogs) but it seems like 2 out 3 gallery pics now do just that...including from DT people announcing new product by using it in the card.
I can live with people who dont tell us the recipe, though I always want to see the supplies used..but even that....
I have been skipping a lot of the blog drivers and not commenting b/c if it is against the rules then I feel like it is rewarding it, if that makes sense?
I probably would not care except it is breaking rules right? I dont have to go to the blog, but then they often dont put the supplies either.

Is there a place in the forum where you can find YouTube videos of users here on SCS?
