I am just being a Curious George tonight. Wondering as to what keeps you going back to certain blogs... content, picture, lifes happenings etc..
I myself look for common interests, inspiration and pictures....wether it's craft related or photography. I found a blog from SCS the other night and just giggled at her posts..loved it.
Anyways...am just curious.
hugs,

this is going to sound funny coming from a deaf person, but seriously blogs with no noise...
(sometimes early in the morning or late at night if i have a headache i take off the bionic sound processors ~ which leaves me totally deaf) and if i am flipping through blogs and hubs is parked next to me watching tv and has to start screaming that the computer is now louder then the tv... this is not a good thing...) I dont go back to blogs that make noise...
I love great photos, I likepersonal posts if they are well written, and honest or real. pets and kids are Ok too...
no music, no bad photos, no swearing, or boring entries
I think different people are looking for different things, some people are just looking for cards or projects to case, some people are looking for inspiration, or like minded artists to connect with. I tend to fall in the latter category, I want to be inspired by the blogs I visit.
I like to visit many different types of blogs...
so what makes a good blog?? Beauty, honesty, and and most of all a bit of the blogger herself should come through in her art, craft ,writing or photos.
Nice artwork, good photos, and basic writing skills.
I can't stand when people mesh all their writing together, or make it so huge that it takes the whole page to read.
Personal stuff about people don't bother me. Of I don't feel like reading it, I just look at the project. I do write about my personal life on my blog, but there's always a project too for just the picture people.
Frequent posts - several per week. Most posts should have a project photo. Multiple photos are fine if they serve a purpose. Occasional personal stuff is OK. A list of products used to make the project is great.
Don't ever revisit a blog that plays music or otherwise makes noise. Prefer not to see a busy background and a blog header that takes up half the screen.
Mainly I'm looking for cards and scrapbook pages that fit my style - things I would want to case or someone giving me tips I can use. Love it when they also offer those tips on YouTube.
