What is best free site to create blog

I have tried blogspot-keeps having issues loading pictures. I want to be able to have lots of pictures and position them where I want. I want a freebie place as well. Any and all suggestions welcomed.

Have you tried using Live Writer with blogger?
I have found it to be much easier to get pictures the size and where I want them.

(I tried WordPad -I think that is what the other free one is called-about a year ago--I found it to be much less flexible--but perhaps they have updated it since)

Looks great but I am on my MAC most of the time. This might force me to email myself pics just to make blogging easier.

What a cool program! I can post in any font I want now! Really, Bloggers, this is something (FREE) to look into!

Even better! You create it in Live Writer and then click Publish IN LIVE WRITER! It hooks up right to your blog!

I have Wordpress. It is free and is pretty basic. It gives you a few options on picture positioning. I have heard that the pay for service wordpress is great.
